A magical villa with stunning views overlooking the sea in the middle of hundreds of old olive and fruit trees. Private pool, heated outside jaccuzzi, spacious and tranquility. 10 minutes drive from the nearest sandy beaches. Paradise.

The house is newly renovated and comfortable for 9 people

Nature at her best. A Garden of Eden looking at the sea and olive trees nestled on the slopes of Mount Etna. Breathtaking sea view with panoramas of the Nebrodi mountain range, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, the Ionian Sea and even the southernmost reaches of the Italian mainland. The nature reserve Marina di Cottone beach at Fiumefreddo is only 9 km away.

Furnished for outdoor living and surrounded by the rural nature. Tastefully decorated by art and antique dealers.

DESCRIPTION
On the ground floor you will find a master bedroom with with matrimonial size bed, and an en suite bedroom with two single beds. Shared bathroom with shower.

On the first floor there are two other bedrooms : one bedroom with double bed and private bathroom and another bedroom with three single beds and private bathroom. On the same floor giving to the outside terrace there is the living room and kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, fridge freezer, etc....).

On the lower terrace you have an inviting swimming pool (7 by 4 mt and 1,5 mt deep). Outside on the house terrace there is a heated jacuzzi. You have over two hectares (5 acres) of land to explore with hundreds of old olive and fruit trees in this very private setting. Ideal for naturists.

We (try to) speak English, French, Dutch, German and Italian.

Sicily is waiting for you and this tucked away jewel is one of the best kept secrets in the Etna north area between Catania and Taormina. Privacy, beauty and peace, the ideal, family, romantic or honeymoon hideaway.

Additional features:
Air conditioning/heating in master bedrooms. In the living room there is a woodburning fire place. The house is at 450 meters above sealevel and during winter evenings it can get quit chilly.

The house is approx 1 km away from the nearest town Presa and 2 km from Piedimonte Etneo, so a car is essential for this house.

Quiet place with beautiful view
This place is located on the north side of the Etna with wonderful views over the bay of Naxos/Taoromina. It is really peaceful but close to town for restaurants and supermarkets. Loved the silence and nature around the house. Nice swimmingpool and a wonderful terrass with shade fromthe olive trees. Everything you need is present to make it a relaxing stay

Agréable séjour
Beau site plein de charme avec terrasse ombragée communicant sur la pièce de vie. De grandes baies vitrées qui offrent une très belle vue sur la côte. Le coin piscine est ombragé et à l'écart. La maison est confortable et notamment la literie. Points d'améliorations toutefois : - pas de climatisation dans la pièce principale très chaude (baies vitrées) ni dans 2 chambres dont une sous comble. Un Ventilateur permet de profiter sereinement d'une des 2 chambres en sous-sol. - mobilier cuisine vieillissant (plan de travail non entretenu, tiroir qui s'ouvrent et ferment mal, matériel cuisson en fin de vie, pas de couvercle) - pas de volet dans une des chambres donc réveil très matinal à cause de la luminosité (plein Est) - piscine : transat vieillissant, rouillés et/ou cassés - une baie vitrée est entièrement tachée par une coulée blanche et gâche la vue (en cours de remplacement selon le propriétaires) -papier toilette non jetable dans les toilettes avec obligation de le jeter dans la poubelle de la salle de bain

Do not stop here, the property is unsafe, unsecure and unhygienic
The property was unsecure, unsafe and unhygienic, we chose not to stay at the property and we left less than 1 hour after our arrival, for the following reasons: Premises not secure as front doors did not lock, the owner initially told us we would have to store valuables in bedrooms and lock those doors instead. Dangerous, cracked paving/tiles especially around jacuzzi where you would be barefooted. Dirty jacuzzi full of detritus, yellow water. Instructions within the property stated that jacuzzi and indoor electronics could not be used at the same time Damaged flue from oven in kitchen suspended from ceiling. Open shower immediately facing washing machine with exposed electric plug socket, Toilet seat was broken, The tap in the kitchen was broken. Unclean stained mattresses and pillows, beds were old, dirty and tattered. The owner was aware that there would be six guests but there were only 5 sunbeds which were in poor condition. The pool water and tiles were dirty. The whole property was generally unclean, dusty with cobwebs and generally in a state of disrepair. The sofa was heavily stained. Glass balustrades surrounding the outside area patio area had multiple cracks and were dangerous. When we pointed this out to the owner, he asked us to leave. VRBO initially advised us to get alternative accommodation and that we would be refunded in full. However they have since refused to reimburse us as we did not give the owner sufficient opportunity to rectify the issues.

Great location in the heart of Etna!
The setting was breathtakingly gorgeous. We could see clear to Taormina and the sea while sitting under the olive tree on the terrace. Perfect space for a multi-generational family of 8. Our host was welcoming and gracious throughout.

Incroyable séjour
Super séjour dans la maison de Filip et Trente. Elle est au calme, bien équipée, propre et le jacuzzi et la piscine sont un vrai plaisir. Les propriétaires sont adorables et toujours disponibles si besoin. On recommande à 300%, merci encore pour tout Trente et Filip 😉

Lovely family week away!
We had a great time staying at Filip’s place in Sicily! The property is near a quiet town in a rural area on the foot of Mt Etna. Everyone enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, plus the home was roomy enough for the kids to all have their own space. We enjoyed bbq’ing many evenings which was lovely. The bedroom with the three beds does get quite warm and there is no AC in that room (that was the only complaint by the kids), otherwise we had a great time and highly recommend! Thank you!

Architektonisch ansprechende Villa in traumhafter Lage mit Panoramablick über Land und Meer
Unser Aufenthalt in Trente und Filips wunderschöner Villa war rundherum gelungen. Wir konnten trotz sehr vorgerückter Stunde unproblematisch einchecken und bekamen eine hervorragende Weinflasche aus Trente und Filips eigener Produktion als Begrüßungsgeschenk - unbedingt auf der idyllischen Terrasse mit Blick in den Sternenhimmel und die schimmernden Lichter am Ufer in der Ferne genießen! Schöne, großzügige Poolanlage inmitten von Olivenbäumen und tolle Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Ruhig mit viel Privatsphäre, dennoch sind alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs mit einer kurzen Autofahrt zu erreichen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Beautiful stay with amazing views
It is challenging to get here but well worth it once you do. The host was very helpful and made sure everything was going well and answered any questions we had. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Plenty of room for relaxing.

Heerlijk huis op superplek met fantastisch uitzicht
Wij waren hier met 6 vriendinnen 50+, en het was een mooie uitvalsbasis om een stukje Sicilië te leren kennen. 2 autos gehuurd. Was wel nodig tenzij je alleen bij het huis wil blijven. Toplokatie, waanzinnig uitzicht met inde verte de zee en de dorpjes zoals Taormina tegen de bergen! De lichtjes savonds maken het fantastisch! De host FLIP heeft een guide gemaakt met goede tips en heerlijke adresjes! Wij hebben er een aantal gevolgd en kwamen daardoor op plekken die je anders niet snel zou vinden! Huis is lekker groot en gezellig, en zowel binnen als buiten goed toeven. Bubbelbad heerlijk. De wegen er naar toe zijn behoorlijk smal en steil. Even wennen was dat! Super leuk gehad en een mooie plek die wij zeker aanbevelen!!

We had a very nice stay at Filips house. Filip was very helpful. The Road to the house is a bit tricky, but we got use to it. The view and the surroundings are just so beautiful and the small village Presa is also very nice.

Beautiful place, amazing host, good food and so much more
We’ve spent two weeks at this amazing place! Woke up to the sun shining onto Taormina and the Bay and went to the jacuzzi before heading back to bed in the evening. Filip was always approachable and recommended food, trips and special events like a dolphin watching. To conclude it was one of the most beautiful holidays we’ve had in Italy. Thank you for the great time!

Séjour dans un cadre enchanteur
L' accès à la propriété est difficile et mieux vaut être dégourdi au volant. Mais une fois arrivé, le cadre fait oublier la route étroite et sinueuse. De la terrasse, la vue sur la mer et sur Taormine est magnifique. On mange ou l'on paresse à l'ombre des oliviers. Le coin piscine, qui gagnerait à être un peu mieux entretenu, est également ombragé par des oliviers. La maison est fonctionnelle, spacieuse pour 9, confortable. Seul bémol: à notre arrivée le ménage n'avait pas été bien fait. Filip et Trente sont adorables, charmants. Ils nous ont donné de bons conseils et se sont montrés disponibles et réactifs lorsque nous avions une question à leur poser. Cette location est un point de départ idéal pour partir à la découverte de l'Etna tout proche, de Taormine, Catane Syracuse...La région est également riche en petits villages pittoresques oubliés des touristes.

Villa au milieu des oliviers
Très bon séjour, le cadre au milieu des oliviers est top et la vue est magnifique. Mais la villa est difficile d'accès surtout pour ceux qui n'ont pas l'habitude de la montagne. L'hôte très sympathique et de bons conseils !

Amazing views of the Ionian see with Taormina, Giardini Naxos and Italian mainland Calabria. The Nebrodi mountain range is added to this spectacular view as the cherry on the cake.
The 20,000 sqm of land is planted with hundreds of old olive and fruit trees and gives a great playing ground for children and shade on hot days.
