The property has been recently refurbished, and is a detached Neo Breton family house with large garden in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking farmland with the sea beyond. The house is equidistant from the town centre of Tregunc, with its weekly market, and some of the most beautiful beaches of southern Brittany.
The nearest beaches are about 1.5miles from the house and within cycling/walking distance but parking all along this part of the coast is available ..and free!
The house is detached and surrounded by a private garden laid to lawn. (a lawnmower is available to use should you wish).
It is on 3 storeys with the ground floor given over to a cellar with a washing machine, the heating/hot water boiler, dryer and picnic stuff available. The adjoining garage area contains the bikes, watersports kit and table tennis table.
On the first floor is the main entrance hall reached by stairs from outside and internally up from the cellar. This level contains a large kitchen, dining, living space with east facing french doors to the balcony; ideal for outside breakfast (for 2 people!) and at the other end, west facing french doors overlooking the garden, and across the fields to distant sea views. The main bedroom, bathroom and seperate WC is on this storey.
The 2nd floor has the remaining 2 bedrooms.
Please note a few specific conditions:
-The house has no internet/WIFI connection or TV/video facilities as we like to have a 'digital detox' when we are there and enjoy reading, eating and playing without the impact of screens.
- Quilts and pillow are provided but we ask you to take your own sheets, bedding, towels etc. We will provide full details of what is available prior to your visit.
- We do ask people to clean the house before departing and to leave it in the condition they would like to find it in. This helps us keep costs down for everyone.
