Our first thought on arriving at the property was "I wish we bought our secateurs, the front garden was very overgrown". On entering the property, it was very well laid out and well equipped. The downside was the cleanliness. The kitchen sink was filthy - try using spray white vinegar - on that type of sink you cannot use cream cleaner or bleach. We had one of those and cleaned it daily. The shower could do with a good clean - it was black at the base of the shower inside and out. Quite a few cobwebs. The cushions are feather - our dog got one in his mouth and coughed and spluttered for quite a while.
It was very lucky that we had our campervan with us, as we had to supply our own toilet rolls, handtowels for both the downstairs toilet, bathroom and kitchen. We also supplied our own microwave safe crockery, tea towels and jugs. Didn't like the look of what was there.
The house had a nice large enclosed garden for our little dog - make sure the front gates are closed as it is open from the back garden to the front. Unfortunately the previous occupiers had not cleared up after their dog, so we did this to make it safe for our dog.
The house was in a very quiet area with easy access to local shops, Bembridge and St Helens.
The worse was the unadopted road - pot holes. Check your suspension - we hated going out and coming back.
