Beautiful LUXURY apartments

The first thing that struck us when we arrived was how clean and beautiful the place was. Julie, Louise and Clare were very welcoming, and a great source of local knowledge if like us you aren't from the area. The location is great but you really need a car to take advantage of the area, its about 30mins from the nearest beach, and we drove for 10 min to do a bit of rambling at the Wolds top, and viking way. All in all a lovely family stay we had a great time, the property was faultless and the hosts the same. Highly recommended

About the host

Hosted by Clare Davies

Host profile image
Sisters, Clare and Louise, have both returned to join Paul and Kate Knapton on the family farm after working in Event Management in London for nearly ten years.

Manor Farm is currently being farmed by the second and third generation of the same family. Growing potatoes, cereals and sugar beet, the farm has also been part of a successful environmental scheme for the last 12 years, encouraging biodiversity and developing soil health across the farm.

Why they chose this property

The Old Granary in Lincolnshire is located on our family potato farm and consists of three bespoke modern holiday cottages in a converted barn, ideal for both short breaks and long term business stays.

Whether you need a relaxing couple of nights away, or a living space for days, weeks, even months at a time, there is no place more suited to your needs.

What makes this property unique

As you’d expect with us being located in the stunning Lincolnshire countryside, The Old Granary offers easy access to a range of superb local walks and cycle routes. National Route 1 is a particular favourite of ours when it comes to cycling, while the Viking Way is a fantastic route for keen walkers just five minutes walk away. The Old Granary is on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds which can provide a vast choice of walking routes with pubs along the way.

On the farm we have 4km of Permissive Rights of Way which guests are welcome to use.
