I throughly recommend this lovely cottage set in a very quiet lane opposite the beautiful estuary, perfect for walking dogs. The cottage was immaculate on arrival with a dog welcome box, as well as a welcome bottle of wine, and home made face masks. So many lovely finishing touches. The owners are also easily contactable for any questions or queries. The only lower score I gave was local amenities, and that is mainly because you would need to drive to a pub. However there is a very well stocked local shop with friendly people within walking distance of the cottage. To be honest though why would you need to go to a pub when the cottage and it’s surroundings are so beautiful and welcoming. There are also amazing dog friendly beaches within a short drive of the cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be returning. This was already my second stay. Our full satisfaction with this cottage is supported by a rebooking for two weeks next year. The cottage was in a central location to all places we wanted to visit and was very homely/well equipped. Particular attention had been paid by the owner to the little details and to safety during the Covid-19 situation Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a brilliant week due in no small part to Woodlands Cottage.

We had a brilliant week due in no small part to Woodlands Cottage. Kate and Steve have done a fantastic job. Everything we could have wanted during our stay was provided, including a lovely welcome pack for us and the dog. The cottage is in a very quiet location and is ideally situated for exploring the beaches and sites of Pembrokeshire. A lot of thought has gone into making the cottage feel welcoming and it allowed us to get on with our holiday without any of the day to day practical concerns that might be associated with a different house.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Unlike some cottages we have rented, the heating was efficient and not restricted. The garden was really secure for the dog. There were lots of walks to take the dog on in the vicinity but it took 30 to 40 mins to get to the nearest beaches and coastal walks. The location is quiet but not remote from e.g. vets and GP at Haverfordwest c. 20 mins away. We would certainly stay here again if we were coming to the area.

Woodlands is a brilliant little cottage for a getaway.

Woodlands is a brilliant little cottage for a getaway. We had a fab time and the whole family really enjoyed (2 kids and a dog) Everything you need for a comfortable, stress-free stay is there waiting for you. Super comfy beds, and a cosy living room (especially when the fire is on) means that when you’ve got back from your exploring its a great way to relax. Peaceful and quiet with great walks and castles nearby, and even Heatherton isn’t so far if you want something for the kids and the dog came too ! Overall, it’s a great place whether it is for a base or even if you fancy just staying in and forgetting about the daily strife. Excellent support from the owners too in making sure we knew as much as we could to get the most out of our stay. We will certainly come again.

Where do I start? This little cottage was perfect for our little family and the dog! Everything from baby gates to plastic cutlery to dog towels and balls were included! We loved the living space it was super cozy and nothing beat a long, wet walk in the forest like coming home to a roaring fire and hot chocolate! Everything was thought of and our little boy thoroughly enjoyed being out in the country, there were ample muddy puddles to jump in and the dog especially loved the river walk! Definitely would return!
