Within easy reach are also a wonderful selection of sandy beaches and fabulous walking opportunities, the island is a paradise for walkers and bird watchers alike. Day trips to Ireland from the bustling port of Holyhead, a myriad of outdoor pursuits and breathtaking scenery in the Snowdonia National Park are also within easy reach.
