Midday is in a courtyard of converted old farm buildings and was part of a Gin case barn, which was a horse driven threshing machine for corn contained inside the barn. Natural unspoilt oak beams are a feature of the bedrooms making Midday a building of great character.
Midday is a stone’s throw from the seafront and 1.5 miles long promenade with views across the Solway Firth to the coastline and hills of Dumfries and Galloway. The area is well known for stunning sunsets and is an excellent base to explore the Lake District National Park and Hadrian’s Wall. Nearby is the Solway RSPB bird reserve at Campfield.
