Spacious, open floor plan home located on a quiet, secluded two acre parcel. Soaring windows offer views of mountains and the natural setting of this home.
Home has three levels. The master suite, spaciously situated on its own level, is designed for full privacy. Views of the St. Sophia range are inspiring and the evening alpenglo must been seen to believe. Marble fireplace gives this room a warm, romantic ambiance. Master suite bath offers a soaking tub and large shower.
On the central level the great room offers spacious seating, gas fireplace, large screen TV and full view of the trees and mountains. A large, snow melt heated patio is off the great room. It offers a gas grill for those evening steak dinners.
Three guest bedrooms, and two full bathrooms, are located on the entry level. Two bedrooms have a queen bed and one bedroom has two extra long twin beds. The twin beds may be converted to a Cal King as well. Each have beautiful forest views.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size fridge, six burner gas stove with an electric convection oven, a toaster convection oven and a conventional coffee pot (no Keurig). We have most every kitchen gadget needed as well as a slow cooker. You can prepare meals for your friends or family easily in this space. The dining room table seats six and the bar area has seating for four.
It is less than a ten minute drive to the gondola which gives you full access to all of Telluride's world-class skiing. The market is located in the parking complex making it convenient to pick up that forgotten treat after skiing. Mountain Village offers the Golden Door Spa at the Peaks, shops, and fine dining. Telluride with a host of outstanding restaurants and shops, is also only a short ten minute drive from your front door. You can also ride the free gondola to Telluride from Mountain Village. The views at night are not to be missed.
Winter guests please note while Fox Farm Rd and our drive are paved, it snows (hopefully). The home has an elevation of 9850'. Therefore while the roads and driveway are plowed as necessary--a 4WD vehicle is REQUIRED for our guests to comfortably access our home. Even after the plowing, our driveway as well as Fox Farm Road can be quite icy and slick; perilous to a two wheel drive. Again a 4WD is a must!! Our site manager is not allowed to pull you out or to tow your vehicle due to liability issues. If you do get stuck, a tow truck must be called.
We are thrilled to be able to offer a 7 man hot tub! The jacuzzi sits on a mid level deck with easy assessibilty from either floor. A sidewalk lets those on the ground level to reach it with ease. To gain access from the master, our top floor passes thru the sliding doors near the dining area. The outside fire table is so enjoyable too!
Our fiber optic WIFI is fast. You should have no problem downloading, uploading or streaming.
Our on-site manager, Rick will be in the apartment over the garage ready to answer any questions you might have during your stay. Please note our parking guidelines; Rickhas a full time job and will need to get in and out of the driveway easily.
While there you may need access to our laundry facilities. Both washer and dryer are available in the garage. Take note that we the owners, as well as our manager stores items in the garage for our use only. Please do not use any items in the garage other than the washer / dryer.
