About this property
Live Madrid! An ideal accommodation experience
Impressive and luxurious apartment with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Fourth floor with elevator, open spaces, modern and very bright. Ducted air conditioning and exposed brick. Kitchen. Rainfall shower Wifi, SmartTV, Netflix, bluetooth speaker, Nesspreso, ... Unbeatable area, balconies at Cascorro Square (La Latina), in the heart of Madrid. Perfectly connected, close to everything and 2 metro stations. All services: Supermarkets, restaurants ... We organize transfers.
The accommodation is a two-bedroom apartment and a bathroom that is part of an 1860 building built in the center of Madrid, close to everything that anyone passing through Madrid could need.
It is a cozy apartment, very bright, with open spaces, with an industrial and contemporary style.
The isolation with the outside is total, becoming an oasis of relaxation, not listening to any noise or feeling the cold or heat that can be done outside the home.
The floor acquires a special personality by being visible the materials with which it is built, bricks and wooden pillars. Heating and air conditioning ducts are also visible.
Enjoy an espresso while listening to the music you like most using our bluetooth speaker or watching a Netflix movie on TV.
The shower in the morning will be another experience that you will take home thanks to the rain effect and the wide space.
You can cook anything since the kitchen is fully equipped and you will find everything you need if you would like to make a romantic dinner at home, as well as quietly enjoy the multiple possibilities of food at home.
If you are interested in watching a flamenco show we can organize everything by booking tickets for one of the best Flamenco Tablaos in Madrid. Just tell us.
I would like to be able to improve the floor even more so if at the end of your stay you have found something that you did not like or have any idea of how to improve some aspect or add some other service, I would be very grateful that you shared this information with me .
The area in which the house is located has all kinds of services at the door of the house.
There is a small shop right next to the entrance that will allow you to buy anything urgently, although there are a couple of supermarkets nearby (300 and 700 meters away).
If you want to buy baked bread on the same day and with different flavors and textures, there is a bakery 50 meters away that makes great bread.
They will not have problems in finding a Restaurant near home, being able to enjoy all kinds of typical Madrid and Spanish food, but also international. Likewise, if your idea is to go for tapas, I don't know if there can be any place similar to the La Latina neighborhood in Madrid to do so, concentrating a large number of tapas bars.
Finally, if you stay at home on a Saturday, do not stop going down to the Trail the next day. Enjoy the atmosphere of the Trail on a Sunday, and take advantage to buy some of the many things that are for sale will be another very interesting experience.
I will be available for what my guests need during their stay. No matter what doubt you have, in any case you can contact me via phone, Airbnb, etc.
The neighborhood of La Latina is an area of Madrid that occupies a large part of the oldest Madrid called Madrid de los Austrias, and keeps a peculiar urban organization typical of the medieval distribution, with wide squares and narrow streets that follow the old route of the waters
El Rastro de Madrid (or simply El Rastro) is an open-air market, originally of second-hand objects, which is set up every Sunday and holiday morning in a traditional neighborhood in the historic center of the capital of Spain. He was born around 1740 around the "Matadero de la Villa", occupying the sidewalks of the Ribera de Curtidores slope of the Lavapiés neighborhood, as a semi-clandestine souk selling used items (trinkets).
The house is in the same square of Cascorro being the beginning of El Rastro, with more than a quarter of a millennium of existence. His international fame (which makes him be present in the travel guides on Madrid as a unique attraction), is related to other markets in various cities in Europe.
The name originates because when transporting dragging the cattle, already dead from the slaughterhouse, near the Manzanares River, to the tanneries, a trail of blood was left increased by the slope of Ribera de Curtidores.
Today it is an area of Madrid with a lot of life, dynamic and full of young people and modern premises that have given the neighborhood a very interesting update.
It has a semi-pedestrian character, being recommended public transport and, as far as possible, enjoy walking.
l Transportation is not going to be a problem at home. We can arrange transportation from the airport or train station.
First comment that most tourist places in Madrid are at a distance where it is better to walk and enjoy the ride, but it also has the La Latina stop 2 minutes from home and the Tirso de Molina 5 .
