WALKING

Nearby there are stunning unspoilt beaches, forest walks, quiet country roads and a wealth of historical sites to explore. The more energetic walker will discover the inaccessible spots; the dramatic cliff walks; the remote hills, glens and lakes which the driver misses.
BIRD WATCHING
The Rosses boasts a large number of habitual high cliff faces, fine sandy beaches, upland heath and bog and important wetland areas. These plus the estuaries of Gweedore and Gweebarra provide rich feeding habitat for large numbers of bird species.
