About this property

Gite Autoire - close to Rocamadour and Gouffre de Padirac

Welcome to Lagrèze gîtes.
Gite Autoire is a delightful one bedroom gîte with en-suite and open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, set within 1.5 acres of grounds with access to a 12 x 6m swimming pool (shared between our 4 gites). Situated between the villages of Mayrinhac-Lentour and Thégra, deep in the scenic Lot countryside. This is our fourth season running our gites and we will do our very upmost to ensure your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible.

Gite Autoire is one of four gites housed in our 18th century barn, nestled in 1.5 acres of gardens.

The barn consists of the following accommodation...
Gite Champollion (3-bedroom, sleeps 6)
Gite Fenelon (2-bedroom, sleeps 5)
Gite Autoire (1-bedroom, sleeps 2)
Gite Amadour (1-bedroom, sleeps 2)

All the gîtes have been lovingly restored and have their own private areas.
The gite includes a fully equipped kitchen, open plan lounge/diner with a large TV with French FreeSat channels plus a DVD player with a small collection of DVDs.
Wifi available free of charge.
All bed linen, towels, beach towels and tea towels are provided.
A shared laundry room is available which includes a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Cot, high chair, baby bath and changing mat are available upon request.
Table tennis is available on site.
With a 12m x 6m swimming pool (shared between our 4 gites) in tranquil surroundings, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
A terrace area is also available complete with table and chairs accessed by the French doors from the gite.
Autoire is also ideally located for guests interested in outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, canoeing etc, in addition to appealing to those who are a little less energetic just wishing to tour the nearby vineyards, medieval towns, day/evening markets and sample the fabulous local cuisine from a choice of local restaurants or you can simply enjoy the stunning Lot countryside.

For an additional charge of 20 euros, we can arrange for your gite to be cleaned midway through your stay. Generally, this would apply to lets of 2 weeks or more.

Fantastic gite

We loved everything about Valerie and Andrew’s gite. The location is beautiful- quiet and rural. We very much enjoyed using the lovely swimming pool. The gite itself was lovely- clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were left a very much appreciated welcome basket of goodies too. The hosts were there to greet us and were available next door if we needed them. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you very much.

Tout d'abord nous avons reçu un excellent acceuil d'Andrew notre Hôte, qui a facilité notre arrivée en mettant à notre disposition pour démarrer notre séjour, lait, café,e croissants, rt j'en passe, ainsi qu'une bouteille de vin du Quercy. Très belles vacances au Gîte Autoire

Bonjour, Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans le gîte d'Andrew et de Valérie. Tout était parfait, très propre, très bien équipé, nous avons même eu le linge de maison. La piscine, le beau jardin, l'environnement, le calme, le soleil. Il y a plein de belles choses à découvrir dans la région, de belles visites, de belles randonnées, de belles plages sur la Dordogne et des bons restaurants avec les produits locaux canard, agneau, fromage. Perfect week

Arriving late, not having done any shopping we were saved by your welcome basket.A nice glass of wine in the evening and a breakfast. Andrew’s advice for the Sundaymorning market in St Céré helped us further. Romanesque churches, castles and the gouffre de Padirac were within easy reach. Autoire is a spacious op gite for 2 with a terrace on one side and the swimming pool at the other Ideal!

Le charme de la campagne

Nous avons reçu un accueil très attentionné avec de plus un panier bien garni et vin de Cahors! notre logis tres vaste et confortable, aménagé avec beaucoup de goût a répondu à tous nos besoin. Sans oublier la piscine tres appréciée après les journées de visite. Le gîte est à proximité de plusieurs points d’intérêt et nos hôtes nous ont fourni beaucoup de documentation, en plus de nous rappeler à l’avance de penser à réserver pour le Gouffre de Padirac. Nous conseillerons à tous nos amis du Québec qui iront en France de séjourner à Lagrèze!

Le meilleur accueil jamais vu dans un gîte. A notre arrivée: de l’eau fraîche, du lait, du jus de fruit dans le frigo , une corbeille sur la table avec des chips, un gâteau, des croissants frais et en prime une excellente bouteille de Cahors. Qui dit mieux. Sur l’avant un superbe coin piscine et sur l’arrière une terrasse bien équipée et barbecue en prime. A l’intérieur rien ne manque: équipement Top. Décoration simple et classe; bonne literie. Maison fraîche tout confort. Autour un champ tondu presqu’a l’anglaise. Des hôtes adorables à votre écoute. De plus un rapport qualité /prix d’ un très bon niveau. Vraiment une adresse a conseiller Merci à Andrew er Valérie The best welcome ever seen in a cottage. On arrival: fresh water, milk, fruit juice in the fridge, a basket on the table with crisps, a cake, fresh croissants and an excellent bottle of Cahors as a bonus. Who says better. On the front a superb pool area and on the back a well-equipped terrace and barbecue as a bonus. Inside nothing is missing: Top equipment. Simple and classy decoration; good bedding. Fresh house with every comfort. Around an almost English mowed field. Adorable hosts at your service. In addition a very good quality / price ratio. Séjour dans le lot au gîte d'Andrew et Valérie

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Gîte idéalement placé pour visiter toutes les merveilles du Lot. Andrew et Valérie sont des hôtes très agréables, gentils, amicales, à l'écoute et disponible. A notre arrivée, une attention toute particulière de nos hôtes nous attendait, un beau panier garni de denrées alimentaires accompagné d'une très bonne bouteille de vin. Le gîte est très bien tenu et d'une propreté hors pair. Il est tout équipé, on s'y sent comme à la maison. L'extérieur est magnifique, une pelouse impeccable, joliment fleurie et boisée, où nous avons pu apprécier le chant des oiseaux, le soleil et la campagne. Si vous rencontrez une difficulté quelconque, Andrew vous le solutionne en clin d'oeil. Exemple : Nous n'avions pas trouvé le fonctionnement pour désactiver l'alarme de la piscine malgré des explications détaillées. L'alarme s'est donc déclenchée et tel "Flash", Andrew l'a désactivé et nous a montré comment faire. 🙂 Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir et nous le conseillerons !

Sejour idéal pour décompresser et voir de belles choses.

Une location irréprochable à tous points de vue. Propre, bien située, au calme, et trés bien équipée. Tout est fait avec gôut. Vue magnifique sur la campagne environnante. Quatre gites dans un même bâtiment proche de la piscine sur un grand terrain vert au calme dans la campagne. Un bon emplacement pour visiter aux alentours Padirac, Rocamadour.... Il y a de quoi s'occuper en Dosdogne. Très bon accueil et des hôtes du lieu aux petits soins notamment avec un beau panier d'accueil.

Exellent accueil dans une tres belle région

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil d' Andrew et Valérie ainsi que leurs cadeaux d'accueil. Le logement décoré avec gout est très fonctionnel et bien équipé. Nous avons aimé le calme de cette maison à la campagne avec sa piscine, à deux pas de nombreux sites et activités .
