Very pretty little house very quiet in the interior courtyard of an old 17th century farmhouse, bordered by its meadows crossed by the Hyères. The farm is no longer in operation.

Located in the Yères valley (protected valley), the small village of Saint-Martin-le-Gaillard, with its listed 12th century church and country setting, is 8 km from Criel-sur-Mer, its beach and its highest chalk cliffs in Europe.
It is about 30 km from the Baie de Somme and Dieppe.

Ruhe und Flair

Danke für den abgeschlossenen Garten, unser Hund hat sich gefreut. Danke für die gut platzierten Sonnenschirme, wir hatten immer ein Schattenplätzchen Danke für die kleinen Hinweisschilder, die hier und da im Haus kleben und die rechte Info an der richtigen Stelle geben. Danke für die Ruhe, die durch das nächtliche Rufen der Schleiereulen noch schöner wurde. Danke für den Verzicht auf Klimbim bei der Einrichtung. Danke für die Spiegel, die oft in Ferienwohnungen für Gäste vergessen werden. Es war schön!

Summer 2023 // Seal watching

Great place to explore Dieppe and Eu area and a lot of villages inbetween. Martine and Yves are great hosts and really helped us to get to the right spots on the right time. Seeing wild-living seals and finding sand beaches without them, would have been tricky!

Gezellig huisje in een mooie omgeving.

Prima verblijf voor een vakantie in Noord Normandie. Helaas was het huisje een beetje donker en er was geen mooi uitzicht. Wel zeer compleet met een zeer zonnig tuintje. In het dorp is geen winkel of restaurant maar je kunt wel heerlijk wandelen in de mooie omgeving.

Rust en charme

Alleen maar pluspunten voor deze vakantiewoning: de weldadige stilte, het contact met de zorgzame en sympathieke eigenaar, de volledige keukeninventaris, de houtkachel, wandelroutes vanuit het huis, de kust binnen handbereik - kortom: een plek om naar terug te gaan!

Super sejour

Logement très bien situé non loin de la côte, dans un petit village très sympa et au calme. Plusieurs départ de randonné au départ du village. Logement idéal pour un couple. Propre, pratique et bien équipé. Charme de l'ancien rénové et décoré avec goût. Séjour très agréable.

Jolie petite maison

Belle petite maison bien tranquille dans la campagne. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et à vos soins en cas de besoin. Tout est parfait avec une bonne literie. Il y a vraiment tout ce qu’il faut dans ce gîte . Si je reviens dans le coin je sais où réserver. Encore merci monsieur.

rustig en prettoig verblijf

Het huisje staat op een binnenplaats, bereikbaar via een automatische poort. Even wennen maar een prima plek. Huisje voldoet aan alle wensen. De houtkachel binnen was heerlijk en op het zonneterras hebben we heerlijk van de herfstzon kunnen genieten.

schitterende ligging

De omgeving was zalig rustig, mooie wandelingen in de buurt. Mooie rustige stranden kortbij! De reden waarom niet alles 5 sterren heeft is voor ons het bed, dat maar 1.4m breed is en de matras voor ons minder goed was.

Excellent séjour dans notre gîte de Saint Martin le Gaillard

Tout d'abord, nous avons été très sensibles à l'accueil que nos hôtes, chaleureux et affables, nous ont réservé. Sur le plan matériel, tout était parfaitement correct dans notre petite maison, si propre, bien équipée et meublée avec beaucoup de goût et de sens pratique à la fois. Enfin, notre séjour nous a permis d'être au plus près d'une nature généreuse et d'une extrême beauté. Nous sommes ravis. Merci.

Très bon séjour dans une vallée de charme à proximité de la mer.

Il n’a pas fait très beau mais il règne dans ce petit village une authenticité et une nature luxuriante. J’ai apprécié toutes les randonnées pédestres à faire dès la sortie du gîte, le calme incroyable qui règne. On s’y ressource tout simplement parce qu’on y est bien.

Quel excellent accueil!

Le gîte est bien aménagé, très propre et charmant. En hiver, le poêle à bois est une belle pièce centrale qui rend le séjour (pardonnez le jeu de mots) vraiment chaleureux. En été, le jardinet protégé est idéal pour un animal de compagnie. Mais la particularité, nous la trouvons vraiment dans l'accueil des propriétaires: disponibles, présents si besoin, et tellement gentils. La météo n'y était pas ce week-end pour nous, mais n'importe: le séjour fut excellent :-)

Charmante et excelent!!

De woning is zeer smaakvol en verzorgd ingericht, alle spullen zijn van uitstekende kwaliteit, er is een bbq en heerlijk terras en we hebben alle dagen buiten kunnen eten. Het huisje vormt onderdeel van een grote oude boerderij, deels opgeknapt, deels nog in oude staat. Een uitstekende plek om je te omgeven met stilte, onderbroken door slechts vogelgeluiden op de achtergrond, uilen in de nacht, en in ons geval een volle maan. De combinatie van landelijke sferen en verre uitzichten op zee (zo'n 8 km van het dorpje) is uniek. Langs de kust loopt een schitterend wandelpad met zicht op de krijtrotsen en een eindeloze zee. Kortom, dit plekje is een absolute aanrader voor hen die houden van schoonheid, stilte en natuur, met oog voor de creatieve inslag van het uiterst sympathieke echtpaar die deze 'ferme' beheren.

Schönes ruhig gelegenes Häuschen auf dem Land

Sehr ruhig am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes gelegen. Zwei Etagen und schön eingerichtet. Martine und Yves sind sehr nett und warmherzig. Die Wanderung in der Umgebung der Dorfes hat uns gut gefallen. Das Internet ist schon etwas langsam.

Urlaub über Silvester mit Hund. Wir haben Uns in dem kleinen , liebevoll eingerichteten Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles nötige vorhanden, der Ofen hat einen guten Dienst erwiesen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut wir kommen gerne wieder Gabi und Jörg
