Nestled amongst our private Leelanau County hardwoods, you can find your private, relaxing getaway. This cozy studio-style cabin is just for those seeking to escape the stressful daily grind.

When you enter the private two-track across from our friendly neighbor's house at 10480 S. Center Hwy until you depart, this will be your home away from home. The entrance will take you between two metal eagles.

This charming little cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, handmade furniture, accents, and a king-size bed. The pristine bathroom boasts clean, easy-to-use amenities, including a sliding glass walk-in shower. From the living room area is a modest closed-in porch with beautiful wooded scenery and a quaint bistro set where you can enjoy a bottle of complimentary Leelanau County wine.

The cabin is conveniently located near many activities, restaurants, and beaches. The TART trail is approximately 1/2 mile from the cabin, with Traverse City and Suttons Bay nearby. The nearest local winery is a short 2-minute drive north, deeper into Leelanau Peninsula wine country.

Whether you desire comfortable solitude while remaining in the cabin or prefer exploring the unique sites and activities the area offers is up to you. We know you will enjoy staying at our Cozy little cabin.

Simply Relaxing!

If I could give Beth and Terry more than 5 stars I would! This was our second year staying and have already booked again for next winter. The cabin was EXTREMELY clean, the plow service did an amazing job keeping everything plowed out for us. There is anything you could think you may need for your stay, plus some! They even provide you with local goodies to enjoy! Highly recommend their cabins!

Another Amazing Stay at The Woods

This was our first time staying in the Cozy Cabin, but our second time on the property. The cabins are beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and very clean. The property is especially gorgeous this time of year with all of the fall color. Communication with the owners is great. Beth responded to an issue we had immediately. We can't wait to come back a third time!

Perfect Fall Weekend

Can't say enough good things about our experience at the Cozy Cabin. My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend. The previous reviews were spot on. Beth and Terry have created and maintained an amazing get away. The welcome book was filled with comments from people that have been there 2, 3, 4+ times, and I can understand why. Just wonderful. We'll be back. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely experience

This is our second time staying at the Cozy Cabin. The cabin is in a quiet, secluded area, which allows for optimum rest & relaxation. It’s very close to the Leelanau Trail, which is great for walking, running or biking. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, screened in porch. Hosts Beth & Terry are fantastic! They have equipped the house with everything one would need to make your stay very comfortable. They also let us know they were available if we needed anything. Highly recommend this property!

Michigan Getaway

Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our store. Beth was always available if we needed anything, even when she was away on her on vacation. The treats left at the cabin were delicious. The cabin was located in a beautifully wooded area about 10 minutes outside of Traverse City. It provided us with the seclusion we were looking for, while still having easy access to town. We really enjoyed the open layout of the cabin. It felt incredibly roomy inside. The enclosed porch area was also a nice touch with plenty of views into woods outside. The kitchen had plenty of spices and utensils for any meal prep we needed during our stay. The location was ideal for us as we were able to explore a large portion of the Lake Michigan Shoreline from Manistee up thru Charlevoix during our stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

True Cozy Cabin

This is our fourth time staying at one of Beth & Terry’s lovely cabins. They are all immaculate & beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable & the amenities are awesome. We really enjoy all the local goodies & fresh eggs. The notes are very nice & truly shows the thought & time Beth puts in for guests to make them feel special. We have now stayed in all three cabins & look forward to our next stay in any one of them. We enjoyed meeting Beth & Terry & enjoyed our visit with them. Debbie & Chuck

Heaven in the Woods

My husband and I cannot say enough about this property. It’s in a great location. Peaceful and quiet. The cabin is immaculate. Pictures or words don’t do it justice. We’ve never stayed in a cleaner property in our lives and we’ve stayed at many. The host is fantastic. at one point, she stopped in the middle of the day to deliver a refill on our propane. The amenities in the cabin are wonderful and the host supplies many things to remember your experience. We will definitely be back. Fantastic!

Awesome place

Everything about the cabin was great. The location, the access, the amenities were all great. The cabin was a surprise for my wife, who is pretty picky about her accommodations, and she loved everything about it. Well definitely recommend it and will stay again.

SO Relaxing

We had a wonderful stay! Terry and Beth were wonderful to work with. The cabin went above my expectations for cleanliness! It was stocked with absolutely anything you could need. The local gifts were a nice touch as well! The location was perfect, nestled back in the woods! It was so peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommend, we will certainly be back for a future stay!

Most amazing place that I have ever stayed through VRBO!

The owners were in communication from the day that we booked until checkout. The property was very clean and welcoming with everything that you could possibly want/need. Ideal location for us, in the woods and quiet, but near Traverse City and the peninsulas. We will return!

Hosted by Terry and Beth

Terry and Beth have been married for over 20 years. Terry was born and raised right here in Leelanau County in the property adjacent to the cabin entrance. Beth grew up in Charlevoix, MI and was raised on a dairy farm. They met in Traverse City and decided to make their permanent home right in the beautiful Leelanau Country close to where Terry grew up. They both have a love of nature and the outdoors.

Why they chose this property

Terry purchased the property over 30 years ago and fell in love with the woods. After many years of enjoyment of the property he owns, he decided it was time to share the beauty of the property and build this small cabin.
