The popular legend says that the House of the Pharmacist was built by the Monks of the Paular Monastery.
It has been located in a privileged place at the gates of the Guadarrama National Park.
The House of the Pharmacist was acquired by its current owners in 2006 and after 2 years of rehabilitation respecting the nobility of its materials in which wood is one of its main protagonists, a perfect, quiet and cozy space was achieved with all comfort.
Currently we are very proud to offer you the House of the Pharmacist to enjoy the tranquility of nature with family or friends, as we did.
The house has 2 floors; on the ground floor there is a large living room with fireplace, a bathroom, and a large kitchen with all appliances, fireplace and dining area with table for 12 people, and the first floor consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and full bathroom included, 1 triple room (3 single beds), 1 double room (2 single beds) that can be converted into triple with an extra bed,
and another bathroom. In the living room there is a double sofa bed that extends occupancy up to 12 people. The house is surrounded by a garden where you can enjoy the outdoors.
The wide spaces and its good location allow you to enjoy different places for your tranquility, games, gatherings or sit down to rest in the tranquility of this small corner of the Sierra Norte de Madrid, with Peñalara in the background.
The environment offers a lot of possibilities, hiking in the mountains, horse riding, canoeing and canoeing in Pinilla Reservoir (Lozoya) Natural Pools of Las Presillas (Rascafría), visit to the Valley of the Neanderthals (in Pinilla del Valle) or enjoy snow sports in Valdesquí and Navafría stations.
