Ever since the 19th century, the intimate and somewhat secluded mountain and fjord settlements of Sunnmøre have been a playground for royalty, emperors, cultural elite and other fine people.
The everyday life of the local farmers offered other pleasures and challenges: At Framgarden in Stordalen you can now live as an "emperor", but in the historical and authentic surroundings of the local western farmer. We offer a journey back in time with excellent food and good comfort. The farm is a stone's throw from the Storelva which provides a good opportunity to get this year's salmon on the hook.
Stordal is located in the middle of Ålesund, Geiranger, Molde and Trollstigen and is therefore a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the various tourist attractions in the area.
