About the Property:
The extended tollgate cottage, in the picturesque village of Brenchley in Kent. The cottage is ideal for Couples, Families, Wedding Guests, Walkers and Adventurers, making this the ideal location for short breaks or something longer. We can also accommodate business trips and a base for workers.
Numerous pubs and restaurants, in and around Brenchley and Matfield.
Great central location for London, Hastings, Ashford with close access to Royal Tunbridge Wells town centre and the Pembury Hospital.
Paygate Cottage, itself was built 1842 and the original parts served as the tollhouse between Brenchley and Horsmonden.
Paygate Cottage can be a great homebase for your family, or small groups!
Eat out at the numerous pubs and restaurants or you can cook your own meals in the beautifully presented kitchen, with all the comforts of home.

The accommodation comprises of a comfortable lounge with large electric reclining sofa, three bedrooms with double beds, separate sleeper sofa in reception room, bathroom with bath and shower, fully fitted kitchen, and the beautiful open plan dining area seats eight at the antique french refectory dining oak table with lovely natural light and view into the distance with a garden to rear.
The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, hob, oven, separate microwave/second oven, american style fridge freezer with ice and water dispenser.

Bedroom 2, 2.4m x 3.2m; Bedroom 3, 1.9m x 3.1m , Bedroom 1 2.3m x 3.7m.
(Note until the 01/04/19 Bedroom 1 will not be available and The Cottage will only sleep 5).

Broadband, oil central heating, built in and freestanding wardrobes and in bedrooms.
Parking available for one car at next to the cottage. Further vehicles can be parked nearby.
Please note that the log burner is currently out of use.

Brenchley Village has many attractive old timbered and shuttered buildings boasting a beautiful high street and village centre next to the All Saints church, which was originally built around 1233.
From the cottage you can hear the church bells on a Sunday morning whilst eating breakfast.
Brenchley village has a lovely coffee shop, local post office and other village amenities.

Paygate Cottage is conveniently located ten minutes off the main A21, which leads from the M25.
