New for June 2019 Light and spacious house Full Of Cornish Charm!
The house is on a quiet residential street in the heart of Penzance, 5 minutes from town centre and train station. It is light airy and spacious whilst maintaining it’s Cornish charm with central heating throughout. The promenade is just a few minutes walk away where you can amble down the famous Chapel street with it's antique shops and Egyptian house to get you there. It has a through lounge/ dining area with plenty of character features. The breakfast room has a stable door leading to the sunny courtyard which has a large shed for surfboards and beach gear. Apart from the two double beds and two single - to sleep over 6 guests there are two pull out futon stools that can go in either double (comfortable though narrower than standard single). There is also a 4ft sofa bed (thinner mattress than standard bed) in the living room. The attic bedroom has wonderful views from the side window over the houses to the bay beyond and just a note that the stairs here are slightly steep as they were built in the late eighteenth century. There is on street parking and a free car park at the top of the street from 4pm to 9am.

Liz has done a fantastic job presenting and equipping the property we definitely had everything we needed. The marketing of the property on VRBO needs tweaking however. We had 4 adults and 2 children there and that was enough. The 2 single beds are children’s beds, and they would be uncomfortable for an adult. I wouldn’t recommend 8 adults trying to sleep there. Anyone who is disabled should take care too, parking was impossible (we were there in August) the stairs are steep, and some of the ceilings low. Whilst everything was clean and well presented there was a damp smell in the kitchen cupboards and there was mould in places. All in all I think it was overpriced and I wouldn’t stay there again
We loved the house. Very clean and homely. Enough equipment, crockery etc to prepare a meal and eat at the property.
Good location for all members of party to split to go off and do their own thing and to explore the wider area.
St Erbyn long stay car park served us well and was a few minutes walk from the property. Affordable parking with no issues encountered.
Súper little cottage that is deceptively bigger than first appears… very well equipped kitchen with eco friendly products. Friendly host.. Right in the centre of Penzance, the shops and restaurants literally around the corner.. St Erbyns carpark is a 3 minute walk away for 24hr parking ..would definitely recommend this little gem..Thank you Liz x
We really enjoyed our stay in Liz’s lovely property. It was exactly as pictured and described. The home was very spacious with a lot of personality. The furnishings were all very comfortable and high quality - hard to find in most of the more ‘corporate’ properties you find on these platforms more and more. Liz provided all the extras that are also usually lacking in other properties; the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the essentials (salt, vinegar, spices, ketchup, fresh milk in the fridge, coffee and tea), there were plenty of fresh towels, enough blankets for everyone to use when relaxing and plenty of firewood if needed. Although a small thing, there was an ample supply of toilet roll, paper towels, and other cleaning supplies.
Liz was a great host. She was in contact to help us check in and out and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I can’t recommend this property highly enough.
We had a lovely time in Penzance with our family, which included 3 grandchildren. The weather wasn't the best, but the house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you Liz - you have done a great job of decorating and furnishing.

Hi - my name is Liz and I am in my sixties. I lived in the West Penwith area for 35 years and in this house for 15 years. I now live with my partner Andrew in Exeter. This lovely house is now my main income although I trained as a Family Relationship Specialist and I still see a few families from time to time. I have been renting my home for the last six years and when my last tenants left it felt like an opportunity to refurbish the house as well as allowing us to spend time in this beautiful neck of the woods. I hope you enjoy the area and house as much as i do.
