Trackside Place is a cute studio barndominium with a full kitchen less than a mile from Carolina Motorsports Park-racing SCCA, NASA, motorcycle/sport bikes & go carts. Located between Kershaw and Camden, SC this apartment can serve as a home base to spend the weekend while at the track.
If you are not into motorsports - the studio is convenient to Boykin Spaniel events in Boykin, Rembert, and Camden SC. The Camden Steeplechase track - home of the Carolina Cup and the National Steeplechase Equine Museum. Camden is the home of Historic Camden, and numerous other revolutionary battle sites in the region.
Also nearby, the Haile Gold mining operation, hunting and fishing at Lake Wateree, and many other options for recreation, sightseeing, exploring or just sitting on the porch.
The apartment is located on 7 acres of beautiful rolling wooded land in the Sandhills region of South Carolina. The studio apartment is on one level - no stairs! You will find a queen size bed, a sofa bed and a fold out chair bed - great for adults or kids. The kitchen is well equipped to cook - dishwasher included. An island serves as the dining area. Outstanding spot close to CMP!

This place was great for what and where it is. Very close to CMP, and a great oasis at the end of a long day at the track. It’s even close enough to go back to in the middle of the day for lunch or a nap. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent Stay

Very accommodating place. Had all the extras that I needed or forgot to pack. Extremely clean and lots of pillows and blankets to keep us warm. Everything worked out great for our stay. We were very pleased with everything. We stayed here because of a track day and we were so close to the event. Highly recommend this stay.

A liitle piece of heaven.

Lovely and Quiet

This is a lovely little studio that had everything I needed with some thoughtful touches like snacks and bottled water. I especially liked that switches were labeled for the various lights and fan. Excellent Choice!

We had a wonderful stay here! Very clean, very cozy! The location was great for Us visiting local family for Christmas. Really a way better choice than staying at a hotel. It was more like going home each night. The host was great as well! Clean bedding, kitchen, bathroom and supplies! It was so nice we decided to stay a little longer and the host was more than helpful with extending our stay! If I could give more than 5 starts I would! Would HIGHLY recommend!

The hosts were quite awesome providing nice little details to make your stay better. The location for anyone spending time at the track nearby couldn't be better. It's so close I actually came back between track sessions to eat and take naps. It couldn't have been more convenient for me.

Cozy studio next door to CMP

Had a great weekend stay here. I was doing a trackday at CMP - this property is extremely close to the track which was it's main selling point for me. Its a large studio space with the only separate room being the bathroom. Roll out of bed and you're at the drivers meeting in under 5 minutes! Bed was firm but comfy, full kitchen including a full size fridge, there's a full size bathroom with standing shower, and plenty of privacy as you are the only person on the property. Home is not on a major road so there's not much direct traffic outside, so I felt my trailer and car we're safe, and I didn't hear much outdoor activities while I was indoors. Home has a wall mounted AC/heat unit, and also a heater in the bathroom. Plenty of clean towels were provided, along with individual travel size soap/shampoo just like a hotel. The home has decent cell service but there's free WiFi provided by the hosts which worked great. This home also has plenty of paved parking space for a truck and trailer. 10/10 will stay here again.

Unique place to stay !

Really enjoyed staying at this property in Kershaw SC. The studio layout was very comfortable and convenient for us as a couple. The interior was spacious and well appointed. Electronics were first rate with good internet connectivity. The proximity to the Carolina Motorsports track would be a huge plus to those attending or participating in events there. This was not our purpose so were happy to find that the location was quiet and restful. The town of Kershaw is only a few miles down the highway and offers convenient shopping for groceries and a few restaurants. We found our hosts a pleasure to work with, very responsive, helpful and friendly.

Just perfect. Great location, great condition, great people.

My wife and I spend a weekend at this location. The owners are great people. They left fresh fruit, coffee and water for us. The location is just perfect, it is right next to the Carolina Motorsports Park. We had a blast! I would stay again at this location if we go back to CMP for an event. Thank you for a great time at a great location.

This property is less than a mile from Carolina Motorsports Park - Dave is a motorsports guy and he loves being right near the track. Frieda loves the land and enjoys walking the property. The grandchildren enjoy camping trips on the property and get to learn a little more about nature.
