Tranehuset - holiday cottage with direct access to the beach - Møns Klint

Charming holiday cottage on the island Møn within walking distance of Møns klint with direct access to the Baltic Sea. A total of 160 m² and it is ideal for groups up to 8 persons. The house is located on a considerably large lot including a large herb garden and a large field without any immediate neighbors. In connection with the house is a glasshouse (Orangery) which can be used to rest in and enjoy either lunch and / or dinner depending on the temperatures. The house has all the required basic functionalities - electritically heated and three wooden stoves as secondary heat sources.

Beautiful home and location
We had a wonderful vacation at Tranehuset - the home was very clean and cozy. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained and the sauna is a delight.

Wunderschönes Haus mit fantastischem Garten in absolut ruhiger Lage
Der Titel fasst es eigentlich schon zusammen :). Ein wunderschönes altes Bauernhaus in absolut ruhiger Lage mit einer guten Austattung. Dazu ein wunderschöner und weitläufiger Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Infolge eines Blitzschlags war der Herd in der Küche wärend unseres Aufenthalts leider nicht nutzbar. Der Vermieter hatte aber einen Ersatzherd (wenn auch nur zwei Platten) beschafft und uns hierfür im Nachgang auch Kompensation angeboten. Kleines Manko: Ein Teil der Matratzen und Bettkissen ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für sensible Menschen daher nicht uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Ansonsten war es ein phänomenal entspannender Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder!

A very special spot in beautiful nature
We had 5 wonderful days in Tranehuset. This is the second time we went there. August is a wonderful month to spend in the house. At this time of the year you can enjoy the ripe grapes hanging down from the ceiling of the beautiful orangery. The garden - which is huge - is with sunlight all day long, and is absolutely wonderful and if you like tranquility, this is a place to stay. No cars, no sounds - other than the wind. Now and then we saw deers passing through the garden. We enjoyed swimming in the see and also going to Klintholm Havn nearby where we had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant ND122 one evening. Hiking in the nearby hills (Busene - Mandemarke bakker) is a must if you like beautiful nature.

It was very nice. The House is so beautiful and spacious. Really lovely, especially the Orangey. You’ll find everything in there what you need. We can really recommend for a quite and calm down time, long walks, short trips by bike or car and also watching stars and the Milky Way lights. For sure well come again!

One week in heaven
Tranehuset is a wonderful place and an incredibly cozy holiday home. With the large garden and the view of the sea, you don't need to go on long trips. Luckily Møns Klint isn't far either :) We hope to get the chance to come back as soon as possible.

Natur pur
Grundsätzlich wohl eine der schönsten Orte auf Mön für einen Urlaub. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause, die Natur rundherum ist überwältigend, und zu Fuß sind unzählige Ausflüge möglich. Das Haus selbst ist wohl einmalig, der Wintergarten der Mittelpunkt, aber auch die vielen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten erlauben es mit mehreren Leuten hier einige Tage zu verbringen ohne sich auf der Pelle zu sitzen. Auch der "Wellness-Bereich" am Haus ist ein Traum, wirklich toll gemacht und wir haben es sehr genossen. Zwei Punkte möchte ich dennoch ansprechen: 1. Mehr Sauberkeit in der Küche wäre wünschenswert. 2. Bettwäsche sollte im Preis inbegriffen sein

Schönes Haus am Meer
Wir haben eine Woche Aufenthalt im Haus genossen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um am Ende der Insel Mön herunterzukommen. Garten, Küche und Sauna mit Blick aufs Meer, am Strand zu den Klippen laufen, wunderbar. Die Küche ist groß, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich, genauso wie das Wohnzimmer. Ein klein wenig "störend" waren Touristen, die das Haus unbedingt auch von der Gartenseite fotografieren wollten, weil es doch so schön sei. Gab einem aber ein VIP Gefühl :-). Wir waren in dem Haus als Familie zu viert. Dafür waren die 3 Schlafzimmer im Haus genau perfekt. Wenn man mit mehr Personen anreist, muss man bedenken, dass die weiteren Betten im Wohnzimmer und in einem nicht wirklich einladenden Flur unter dem Dach stehen und es nur ein Bad/Toilette gibt. Wenn man also mit 6 oder mehr Personen anreist, sollte man sich schon mögen, weil dann Rückzugsorte fehlen.

Familystay at Tranehuset
We stayed at Tranehuset with our kids and two of their grandparents. It's been one of our most relaxing holidays. The house is perfectly located with a beautiful sea views and Møns Klint in walking distance. And as others have mentioned the place is very well equipped and beautifully decorated making it good choice throughout the year. Obviously we all would have loved to stay longer.

This was our second stay at Tranehuset. First time was for 3 weeks in august/september last year. This time we only came for one week, eben though it is a 1000km away. We enjoyed our stay in winter too. The wood fired ovens and the sauna made it an excellent holiday. See you soon :)

Ein Träumchen
Ein wunderschöner Platz mit Blick aufs Meer,wenn man möchte sogar in der Sauna oder auch von der Dusche bzw Badewanne im Freien, mit herrlich warmen Wasser, aus, ein Highlight 😃 Wir benutzten zwei hübsche Zimmer im EG. Im OG ist noch ein weiteres schönes Zimmer allerdings auch zwei Betten im OG Flur das geht gar nicht, zum Glück benötigten wir diese nicht! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet wobei der Backofen und die Abzugshaube eine gründliche Reinigung vertragen könnten. Die Holzöfen sind gut zu heizen und Holz hatten wir dazu gebucht was reichlich vorhanden war. Der Wintergarten wunderbar. Man findet ringsherum immer ein Plätzchen mit toller Sicht. Fazit: das schöne Haus, der herrliche Platz, die Flora und der tolle Gang direkt zum Meer entschädigen allemal für die paar Kleinigkeiten an Kritik. Gerne wieder.

A really nice place!
We stayed at the house for almost 3 weeks. It was the perfect holiday for us, the kids and our dog. A very beautiful house, with a huge garten and only about 250m to the beach. I can easily think about going there a second time, maybe even in winter. 100% recommendation!

Herrliche Lage mit eigenem Strandzugang
Sehr netter Vermieter, war für alle Anliegen erreichbar. Das Haus selbst ist für 6 Personen ausreichend groß, auch wenn es nur ein Bad innen hat. Die äußeren Sanitäranlagen (Badewanne, Dusche, WC in Waschküche) sind zumindest bei warmen Temperaturen ein guter Ausgleich. Technisch sind alle Geräte auf neuem Stand und funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Außenmöbel waren etwas älter, kaputte Liegen wurden vom Vermieter aber umgehend getauscht. Garten und Anwesen sind einfach herrlich. Beim Frühstück im Garten auf das Meer blicken, besser kann es nicht sein. Sauberkeit war ok, aber nicht überragend. Viele Insekten und Spinnen finden den Weg ins alte Gemäuer. Warnung für große Menschen, die Türen und Durchgänge sind nur bis 1,80m gefahrlos passierbar.

Idyllisk sted på Møn
Super dejligt sted på Møn. Hyggeligt hus og en outstanding have og grund. Smukt og virkelig meget at lave for store og små. Vores børn elskede udendørs badekaret og legede og plaskede i mange timer i varmen. Vi spiste udelukkende i orangeriet med friske vi druer ovenover vores hoveder fra den smukke vinranke. Alt i alt en uforglemmelig weekend! 👌🏾

Best rental ever
This is possibly my favorite rental property that we have ever booked. It's magical--wildflowers, rocky beach, fields with deer/hares, walking trails to Møns Klint directy from the house. It's rural and out of the way, completely private, and absolutely charming. A few notes: the doorways are rather short--my husband hit his head repeatedly when walking through. The path to the beach requires use of a rope handrails/rough hewn steps. This was not a problem for us, but if older, may be difficult to access beach.
