Well-kept decoration, typical chalet, all comfort.

Very dirty

This place is in a great location but apartment was terrible. Super dirty stains of blood on pillows and comforters. Not enough towels. Dirty linens. Just overall disgusting

Screaming Included

The check in information was sent to us in another language which made it impossible to know how to check in. I called a number on the listing for help. a very irritated woman answered and was quite angry that I was asking questions about the location of the apartment. She gave me the code to the door and hung up. I searched for the apartment for 30 minutes with no luck. I called back and she immediately began screaming at me. She screamed that it wasn’t her job to tell me where the apartment was, her only role was to tell me the code. When I tried to explain that the instructions were sent in another language and I was having trouble finding the place she exploded in anger. She was screaming so loudly that I put her on speaker so my family could hear her ranting and raving about how this wasn’t her job. She continued screaming that she wouldn’t help me and it was not her problem that I couldn’t find the apartment. I was astonished at her extreme anger. I tried multiple times to ask her gently for help and she screamed even louder, finally hanging up on me. I ended up wandering around the area asking locals where the apartment building is located. Luckily for us a kind French gentleman led us to the place.The place reeked of vomit, the sheets were blood stained with hair in the bed. The shower heads were covered in black mold. Not queen beds as listed. bathroom door hinges were falling off, the coffee maker water reservoir was moldy. Worst VRBO ever. We left a day early

Great apartment in the middle of Val Thorens

Great apartment which easily accommodated seven friends. Good sized rooms and communal area with large dinning table. Good kitchen facilities including dishwasher and three toilet/shower rooms. Great location for the bars and restaurants and access to the slopes, it is possible to ski back to the front of the apartment block. Lifts to the block are very busy and often had to wait. Detailed check in details aren't provided until the arrival day but once received were clear and straight forward. Definitely would return to this apartment when in a large group.

A good break - noisy building though

The apartment was perfect and in a fantastic location. We were a group of 6 adults and two children of just over 2 years old. The listing had said that there was a washing machine and, unfortunately, we learned this was not the case. The apartment was perfect for our needs but one of the downsides was that the building was quite loud at night with what seemed to be various parties going on and parts of our apartment also had the smell of smoke/weed which we are pretty sure was coming from other apartments. However, it is possible that this was due to us picking the wrong week as it appeared that on the day we left a lot of people in their late teens/early twenties were also leaving the building and getting on a coach together (perhaps a group trip of some kind)!! The building was in a perfect location with a Carrefour supermarket just out side the front door on the ground level as well as various places to get food. You could also access the building from the Grande Rue on level "-3" of the building. All in all the apartment was comfortable and we were happy with it. Our only frustration was the parties and smoke which was outside the control of the property host, hence the 5 out of 5 review.

Parfait pour séjourner à plusieurs

Un appartement spacieux, et fonctionnel, propre et agréable. Un localisation idéale pour être à proximité de tout, que ce soit à ski ou à pied. L’accès direct au parking est réel plus.

This stay was great.

This stay was brilliant. The only issue we had, was that the listing says check out time 12.30 but in reality it was 10am. However the owners were very accommodating and let us stay till 12. Otherwise, it was clean and in a very good location.

Bon séjour mais serait parfait si: Il y avait de l’eau chaude après 18h pour location à ce prix c’est un peu raide. Un 3ème badges ascenseur ne serait pas de trop. Enfin le casier à ski pour 12 est vraiment trop petit.
