Property features 15 acres of private forested surroundings, abundant wildlife, and incredible views across the Flathead Valley to the distant mountain peaks of Glacier Park and the Swan Range. The cabin’s spacious wrap-around porch/deck and the striking 2-story wall of windows will immerse you – inside or out - in everything that represents the true Montana vacation experience. This getaway country home is a short 15 minute drive to Kalispell - and therefore convenient to all that the Flathead valley offers. Your quiet retreat will welcome and soothe you following each day of discovering and experiencing the valley's endless variety of available outdoor activities, shopping options, entertainment offerings, and dining choices.

Our relaxing home features an airy living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with large breakfast bar, 2 main floor bedrooms with queen beds and shared bath, a cozy and spacious upstairs loft affording a commanding view of the surrounding forest and mountains, and an upstairs master suite highlighting a unique king-size log bed, spacious private bathroom with tub and separate shower, and an intimate private deck for watching our reliably colorful summer evening sunsets.

Updates include fresh new hardwood and tile flooring throughout, new bathroom and kitchen countertops, new furnishings and accents including all new mattresses, and a spacious separate laundry room. Multiple features and amenities inside and out provide activities for all ages. These include a flat screen TV and associated video components in main living area. An extra refrigerator for those larger gatherings, outdoor fire pit, horseshoe pit, a shady rope hammock for two, corn-hole game set, various board games, large movie selection, and lots of porch and deck space for simply relaxing and taking in the sights, sounds and smells of Montana.

This was such a beautifully renovated cabin that my family and I shared and built so many fond memories. The laughter and bonding was priceless. I will definitely be back to stay. The Perfect Hid Away Get Away

The home is gorgeous! It has everything needs to be comfortable during your stay. The wildlife there visited us daily (deer and wild turkey), We even caught a glimpse of a bobcat. The home is close enough in everything needed and places to go but yet still gives you the privacy and seclusion if you’re looking for that. The host are so nice and helpful with great communication. Will def stay there again.

There’s not enough space here to list all the wonderful amenities of this Kalispell cabin on 3 acres and its central location to many of the world-class in this area of Montana. Nice and private with beautiful views. The house was well stocked making it easier on guests to enjoy. The house was comfortable and spacious for our large group. Close to shopping in Kalispell and not far from Glacier National Park and the charming towns of Whitefish and Bigfork.

House was beautiful, clean, and very updated. Plenty of space for our 7 guests. Kalispell was not a far drive from the house and you can see a great view of it from the porch. Tanya kept in touch the whole time and was very clear with everything. If I ever get back to Montana I would 100% stay here again. Thank you Tanya!

Great stay location - Kalispell MT.

Me, my wife and daughter spent a week @ the cabin and had a fabulous stay, an actual log cabin, not the pseudo siding log cabins so popular here in Arizona. Cabin is remotely located with deer wandering around the property, as our infant daughter relished the moments. The wood fire pit, hammock, propane fire pit and Adirondack chairs were a source of entertainment and relaxation for me and my family. The availability to W/D and R.O water was a real convenience. A completely tranquil experience as advertised, 5 stars. Property owner/host Tanya was available real time to address questions and concerns via phone/text. Just need to lookout for the multitude of wild turkeys as you navigate the road up to cabin. :-)

We rent cabins every year. This was the most beautiful. Owners were quick to respond to any issues. Very friendly and helpful. This cabin lives up to it's pictures. Just beautiful. Everything went as smooth as could be expected. Loved every minute. Didn't want to leave.

Great Mountain Home

We couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience. The house had everything we needed along with a great location...close enough to town, but tucked away for privacy. Plenty of wildlife everyday on the property (deer, turkeys, ground squirrels) and a fantastic view. The home was impeccably clean and very comfortable. About an hour from Glacier NP, but it’s an easy, enjoyable drive (we had already driven 30 hours so another 60 minutes was nothing). Whitefish is a great spot, too, only 30 mins away. All in, you can’t go wrong with Tanya and this home for your Montana getaway.

Glacier-View Log Home

Wonderful location just outside of Kalispell and close to Glacier Park. The quiet fifteen acres at the end of a private road provided us with a variety of peaceful viewing opportunities of wildlife or the scenery, whether we were inside or outside of the home. There was room for our family of eight adults and two children to have alone time or shared time together. The kitchen is large with numerous draws, cabinets, appliances, and well supplied with cooking utensils. The dining table and bar area provided space for family dinners or a place to socialize and plan our adventure. Large closets, separate laundry room, large entry way, and living room provided plenty of space for storage, managing apparel, and just hanging out. The whole atmosphere provided a stress free, relaxing vacation for our family.

The cabin is in a great location - close to Kalispell, Whitefish, and about an hour from Glacier National Park. It is quiet and peaceful with great views. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. The hammock was a favorite spot to relax. The owner was easy to get a hold of and responsive. Just this side of Heaven

It has always been a dream to come to Montana, I wanted a real Montana experience, this place is just beautiful, the home , views so much to do and see whitefish is close glacier natl forest is about 45 minutes away, flathead lake isn't far.. this vacation was epic for us. This home had everything we needed, clean, beds were very comfy. The peace and quiet after a day out exploring was so nice. Not to mention Tanya is amazing, she checked on us traveling it took us over 28 hrs and 1864 miles to get there. She treated us like family all the text we sent back and forth and always responded quickly for any questions. Thank you for renting this home it is just beautiful.

Relaxing cabin is a great choice for Montana adventure!

Outdoor activities in Glacier NP and around the Flathead Valley can really wear you out each day, and Valley View cabin is a great place to retreat to for recharging and getting ready for that next adventure! It's a clean, spacious home with very comfortable beds and couches. Tanya can provide you with all kinds of recommendations for things to do in the area, and she was super communicative throughout. Valley View Summer Rental

Our group had an absolutely fantastic time at the VRBO this summer! The house sits on an absolutely stunning piece of property, tucked away in the woods with a beautiful view of the valley below. We especially loved the campfire pit and back porch overlooking the valley. Everything needed to have an enjoyable time was provided (firewood, chairs, lighters, etc...). The house itself was spot on what we saw in the photos and was perfect and comfortable for a large group of 10. And extra special thanks to Tanya who stayed in contact with us the whole time to make sure we had everything we needed!

Why they chose this property

Our family enjoys both summer and winter outdoor activities, of which the Flathead Valley offers endless possibilities. After initially visiting and then often returning to Kalispell for multiple vacations, we decided to make it our second home. We purchased this property due to its proximity to so many activities and places we enjoy, and due to the peaceful seclusion and comfort it affords us following busy days of exploring this wonderful area.

What makes this property unique

This property is tucked away in a secluded and elevated 15 acre forest setting , allowing visitors to enjoy a remote getaway experience while still being just 2 miles off Highway 2 (west) and a short 15 minute drive to Kalispell. The peaceful setting, the frequent wildlife visits, and impressive valley and mountain views can all be enjoyed inside or out due to generous porch/deck space and an amazing interior floor plan that keeps you immersed in the surrounding beauty.
