Dubrovnik old town is 16 km away., bus to Dubrovnik goes every 30 min, take you about 25 min driving to the old city Dubrovnik.Price for the bus ticket to Dubrovnik is 20 kn or 2,70 eur one way.

What you can visit :
Dubrovnik by boat (I recommend :-) ),starts from your nearest beach waterfront and take you directly to the old town of Dubrovnik,the journey time is about 40min ,ticket price is 40kn or 5,50 eur one way.
The Trips to the islands are very pleasant and relaxing.
Each island in the Dubrovnik area is only 40min or maximum of hour and fifteen min away.
