About this property

Villa San Bruno, Beachfront Sea of Cortez, Mexico

Set in the quiet, safe, fishing village of San Bruno BCS above the marina is your beach vacation getaway. The villa is great for naturalists, a romantic getaway, family vacation, or fishing group. Your roomy, fully furnished two bedroom apartment on the second level offers the most beautiful sunrises. A sleep number bed in the master bedroom provides you with a comfortable night's sleep. A variety of whales common to the area including the Great Blue, Humpback, and Grey. Occasionally whale sharks are seen, while dolphins, seals, and porpoise are common to the area. Great yellowtail fishing. Enjoy the use of our sea kayaks and stand-up paddleboard. A small convenience store and evening take-out cafe are located directly across the street. Your apartment is equipped with Wifi, however the internet is not reliable. We have a large screen TV w/DVD player on request. You will find this authentic fishing village does not offer a night life nor tourist shops. The nights are generally quiet with occasional party noise or barking dogs.

Enjoyable view of ocean in quaint villa.

We enjoyed the quaint 'old Mexico' unit of a 3 unit villa. We stayed in upstairs unit 2 which had a nice balcony and great view of the ocean. This was a village with only locals, roaming friendly dogs, and roosters. Not many services but some close by. Good wifi and nice, fairly private beach, but somewhat trashy. The drive to nearby towns and beaches was pleasant, but watch for potholes.

Wonderful

Bob and Diane and the real deal. They live the Mi Casa Su Casa life. There place is one of those hidden gems. Our family is already looking forward to our next stay.

Rustic Relaxation

Five women and 2 small dogs recently spent 2 nights here in San Bruno. We loved it ... the community is friendly and welcoming, the nearby restaurant wonderful and the view from the balcony incredible. We spent one day at nearby Punta Chivato gathering shells, also a great experience.

Beautiful view, lovely village, nice hosts

I loved the little village of San Bruno precisely because it is a real Baja fishing village where you can walk the beach and talk to fishermen and their families. This place overlooks the beach and you can hear the waves crashing and the seabirds singing. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Great view from the balcony and very comfy beds.

The casa was even better than I expected.

The property was exactly as the pictures displayed, it was in excellent condition and everything was perfect with no issues or problems during the stay. The house is well furnished, kitchen well equipped to cook just about any meal you wanted and it was extremely clean. The owners were very accommodating and friendly on line prior to our arrival. During this time they were not at the property but we were met by friends of their, Brent and Geannie, who help with guest arriving and during you stay. They were excellent, friendly and very helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend this property and I'm sure I will be back in the future

What makes this property unique

Right on the beach. At times the sunrises are spectacular. The birds and sea life are entertaining. Good snorkeling around the island. Store for the basics and a take-out cafe across the street. The area is safe, peaceful, and the local residents friendly.
