The apartment is located in inner Copenhagen in the middle of the vibrant shopping district. The apartment is facing a courtyard, but you can still hear the rich city life in the background. The neighborhood is filled with cafes, bars and shopping opportunities. The famous street "Strøget" is an arms length from the apartment, and runs through the entire midtown area. The apartment is perfect for a couple. It can hold 3 or 4 friends. I've just finished a total make over and everything is new.

My partner and I had a great (first) Copenhagen vacation. Our lodging was quaint, clean, adequate for 2 people for a short stay. Its location was the best aspect of the property, very close to many local attractions and places to be.you can walk to Nyhavn and the famous foot bridge that leads to Christianshavn and Christiania (which we found very underwhelming).
Overall, a great host made our trip more fun. Thanks Lars.
The property was wonderful and in such a great location. Everything was walkable from the apartment which was perfect and the space itself was exactly as described. Lars was an excellent host and went above and beyond to give us tips and recommendations in the city during the check-in process. We had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend a stay at this property!
Great Central Location but Still Quiet and Peaceful
My wife and I had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Right in the heart of the tourist area but still peaceful thanks to windows facing interior courtyard. Everything was just like the pictures. Lars and Iliana are great hosts. Very comfy bed. Really liked the kitchen. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The property was fantastic, perfect for our few days away. It was very central and the host was very helpful and knowledgeable. Be aware there are some steep stairs up to the apartment. The host gave us lots of info when we arrived, maybe this could be written down and left in the apartment.
I could not have asked for a better location. Popular square about 100 ft. away, with a hip-on hop-off bus stop on the square. Tivoli Gardens is just a 10 minute walk away and many restaurants within a short 5 minute walk. The restaurant in the building is 5 star in my book. Be prepared to walk up two flights of stairs as there isn’t an elevator/lift. My wife and I will book this place again on our next visit to Copenhagen.
Three nights in a centrally located unit. Clean and large. Lars is a great host with a friendly personality and great communication. This unit is up two flights of stairs in an interior courtyard. It is convenient to all of Copenhagen. The only strange thing is the shower but it works fine.
I can't say enough great things about the location, size and helpful of Lars and this apartment!
Although the apartment is a walk-up, Lars helped with the bags, explained with appliances (we are from the USA), shower, trash, etc. Lars was also SUPER helpful and conversational about the area, what to see, what to do! He was perfect for our family of 4 to stay-- since the other review, a closet rod has been added for hanging clothing, and the washer was nice.
Five star! Would stay again!!

Host was nice / communicative. Older flat in pretty good shape but not new or renovated. Price was fairly high (though I can't remember comparables for the same time of year in Copenhagen -- could be that everything was high!) Flat was suitable for two people, maybe 3-4 depending on the mix of people We booked for 4 people (two adults, two kids, twins, age 11) -- had to pay a surcharge for the two kids. In hindsight, not sure what the surcharge was for. There was a loft area with an extra double bed (for the twins) but we didn't use it -- we adults (age 50) felt the ladder access to the loft was too dangerous for us, and likewise felt it was too dangerous for the 11 year olds. So perhaps the surcharge was for the loft area which we didn't use. Maybe a late teenager or young adult would be fine in the loft, but not our crew. Thankfully the couch was a hide-a-bed which the twins shared. The bathroom was odd and small, but functional and we got used to it. The kitchen was nice, no microwave but easy to use / user friendly. Two flights of steep old-timey stairs to access the flat, so be ready for that, thankfully we were traveling light and only had small luggage. Overall I would stay in this flat again if there were only two of us, but probably not again with the four of us.

Easy days on foot, Metro or train
Perfect location in the heart of town.
Apartment was warm – great to come back to that after a chilly day out exploring.
Washing machine - you just need to know it takes about two days for anything to hang dry. So plan accordingly.
Two Netto grocery stores are very close by to buy coffee pods for delonghi coffee/espresso maker.
Safety concerns? (Copenhagen is a very safe place) the unit is behind a grand door, an iron gate, the door to the building and yet another locked door midway up the stairs.
Stairs are typical for old buildings: narrow and winding. Less luggage is better if you can plan it that way.
Speaking of luggage, there is no place to put your clothing, nor is there anywhere to stow your luggage. We had to splay out onto the floors and live out of our suitcases.
I thought the big black unit pictured in the dining room was an armoire. It is not. It is some sort of safe. I wish there had been a dresser to put our clothes in. Then we could have slid the suitcases under the bed. Since we stayed for two weeks, this was disheartening.
The loft – we did not feel comfortable or safe using it.
The ladder just leans against the loft. There should be hooks at the top for safety/security. We were told to make sure the bottom of the ladder was under a throw rug to prevent slipping. We both felt the ladder situation was an accident waiting to happen, so we ended up bunking together on the bottom bed. That was not our plan. And for travelers with back issues, the mattress is very very soft/spongy.
As I mentioned, we stayed 2 weeks. We were provided only one scratchy bath & hand towel each. Remember it takes 2 days to dry anything… I recommend an upgrade of towels & provide at least 2 sets per person.
Use the shelves in the kitchen for your toiletry items – the bathroom also is typical tiny. The shower is about 36 inches square, including the sink. Minus the sink you have about 22” x 36” in which to maneuver. Know before you go.
The only real problem we had was on the first day with the blinds. They did not to go down easily. We informed the owners. The wife came over and could not release the blind either, so she arranged pillows and bedding tucked into the window. It remained this way for the duration of our stay. We were afraid to lift the blinds after that. So we basically spent two weeks in the darkened apartment.
Having said all that, this is a wonderfully situated apartment. Easy days on foot, Metro & train.
This is a great location, nicely decorated, and has everything you will need for a pleasant stay. Close to the metro, shopping, entertainment and very walkable to all. FYI: There is a Sushi restaurant as you walk in. Great place for a first meal.
Things to know - it can get loud due to the echo in the courtyard from the adjacent apartment, but closing the windows helped. But this was limited. The stairs are steep and narrow but do able (Just remember, you will need to carry your suitcase up the stairs.). And do not let the shower and bathroom combination discourage you from renting, it was easy to manage. With all that said, this was a great place to stay and most importantly the host was great. We had to deal with the Tour de France to get in, and Lars was in constant communication with us and made a special arrangement for his wife meet us.
Apartment is perfectly located to explore Copenhagen. Lovely, cozy, and comfortable, with easy access to transportation and to the sites. The host met us upon arrival and gave excellent recommendations regarding restaurants etc. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
The process was simple and Lars, the host, is extremely knowledgeable! Whether is was navigating travel regulations (directing us to resources) or making recommendations - Lars is perfect!
The space is cozy and accommodated us well. The vibe of plants, the city, and natural light is a major plus. Would definitely book again!
We had a great stay in this apartment. Clean, comfortable, perfect for two adults and one child. It is centrally located, easy walking to Tivoli, museums, transportation. Lars met us at the apartment and gave us helpful information. I would recommend this rental!
