THE SPACE
Built in 1897 and situated on the 2nd floor of a beautifully tiled "Pombalino" style building with marble entrance and a wide sturdy staircase, you will immediately feel part of old Lisbon and all her charm.
Newly renovated to embrace many elements synonymous with Portuguese architecture including handmade Portuguese Azulejos tiles and Lioz stone, originating in the nearby Sintra area and commonly found throughout the city.
The apartment also features original wooden flooring, exposed stone and many other beautiful details.

GETTING AROUND
With everything right on your doorstep and picturesque walks tempting you to get lost in Lisbon’s winding streets you might prefer to explore by foot - it's just 1.5 miles to downtown (Chiado / Bairro Alto), but if you do need transport there are plenty of options.
The famous Tram 28 stops less than 2 min from the apartment and is a wonderful way to journey around the city passing quaint historic neighbourhoods and famous sites.

The bus stops at Sapadores and Rua da Graca are both less than a 2 min walk from the apartment and will take you to/from the local Metro or Train and beyond.

Tip: The Citymapper app for Lisbon is very useful for public transport info.
Electric Scooters and Bicycles are available to rent via apps such as Lime and Bolt and can be found in many places around the city – please follow safety and parking rules.
Taxis can be hailed in the street or found waiting at taxi stands (the closest is just 4mins walk away).
Taxis are able to pull up directly outside of the apartment building, typically costing 10-15EUR to/from Lisbon Airport.
Uber, Bolt and other transport apps all work perfectly in the city often offering savings on longer journeys compared to the taxis.
Parking on the street is possible and is charged by the hour (coin operated meter payable Monday to Saturday / 1.80EUR per hour / times vary).
A secure and convenient 24h Car Park operated by Empark is located at Santa Apolónia train/metro station and costs just 8EUR per day.
