We booked this cabin for the end of our 13 day vacation. We were very pleased with how big it was and the porch with hot tub and lights. Everything was all wood and so cabiny which is what I always look for. Easy check in/out. There was so many restaurants and activities within 10 minutes away. Will book again next time were in area! Outstanding cabin!
The cabin was clean and looked just like pics. We had to call someone to come start the hot tub, which wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed the pool table, horseshoes, and deck of cards. The toilet paper is terrible, so bring your own. The towels were raggedy, but we made them work. We received only 1 trash bag for a 2 night stay. Again, bring your own. We received no body wash for the downstairs bathroom. We loved the location and the twinkle lights on the back deck. This place has the potential to be amazing. They need to fix the details and voila!
Property was just what we wanted and needed. Everything we needed was there. Spent lots of time playing cards, shooting pool and relaxing in the hot tub. We will be back.
My husband, two sons and I absolutely LOVED our visit to papas pad. After a long day full of excitement I couldn’t wait to go back to this cabin. Slept so well and had such a home away from home feel. Very comfortable and would absolutely love to go back. Both bath tubs have jets (that was probably my favorite) the only complaint I might have about it is the steep up climb up the road into a even steeper driveway, was a pretty tight squeeze for our full size vehicle but otherwise everything was so perfect for our family getaway.
The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and grill. Kitchen was well stocked. This was a perfect getaway place for our family and we would definitely book again!
Everything about this cabin was great! The back porch was the best part, the hot tub & pool table along with the cute lights!! Beds slept comfortably. Cabin is located in a great spot, close to everything yet secluded. Kitchen was stocked well & had everything we needed. Will absolutely stay here again!!
Was a good stay, although some places in the house could be cleaner. We also called to get the door fixed, the third day we were there and no one ever came. Also, power was out but no flashlights to be found.
Very well appointed cabin throughout! A real log/wood cabin in the woods! Have everything we need. Nice location with paved roads all the way and great privacy. Will stay again!
We loved the place it’s so adorable. Quiet and country just like we like it. Not far from Dollywood or anything honestly. We didn’t get to see any bears this time but we will definitely stay again!
The property was great for a quick getaway. It was close to attractions and dining. We were looking for a dog friendly cabin and this was perfect.
The kitchen was well equipped and there were games and activities at the cabin. We were missing a broom but we enjoyed our stay!
We loved the cabin and the location of it. I would recommend that the jets in the tubs be cleaned out regularly. When we tried to take a bath there were a lot of black specks in the water from the jets, besides that we loved our stay and will definitely book again.
Papa’s Pad did not disappoint. We had a great time. We chose Papa’s Pad because we have a dog and they allowed her to tag along. The only thing I would change is the upstairs bathtub/shower combo to just a standalone shower. Everything else was great.
We had an amazing time. Both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were really close; but you still felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. The cabin was great and was exactly what we expected.
We LOVED this property - it was secluded in the mountains for an authentic TN trip, but was close enough to restaurants/things to do. We had 4 adults and a 6 month old, and we were all able to sleep peacefully. The living room has more than enough places for everyone to sit, as does the dining area. We only brought one car, but two could have parked comfortably. Would love to stay here again!
It was a nice place. Could have been cleaner. I had to clean up dog poop from inside enclosed porch. Razor left in shower from previous guest. Also this is the 1st cabin i ever rented with no dish towels or paper towels available.
We had a great time and enjoyed Pigeon Forge and the Gatlinburg area. Tennessee is beautiful and we spent a whole day driving all the way through the Smoky Mountains. Our cabin was clean and very nice. As advertised. Had a few issues with a couple things. Hot tub had 2 non working jets, hard to get it to heat up and it need of chemicals as 3 of us ended up with ringworm which was gross. No way it had proper chemicals or water changed in it for quite a while. Outside of that we really enjoyed our vacation. Definitely will come back to the area but definitely want a cabin with a Mountain View as this one is surrounded by timber and not very far up in the mountains.
Wonderfully relaxing cabin at the edge of the woods
Everything was easy and as promised. The beds were comfortable and having a jacuzzi tub in both bedrooms was really great.
The only down side was the kitchen area to cook is a one person space and the knives could use sharpening. But everything else was fantastic! Charming and cozy!
