Great location, great floor plan & sleeping space, arcade, putt-putt, bags & movies were great! Ladies at Fireside Chalets very friendly & answered all our questions during the booking process. Property needs a major deep cleaning & upkeep, bedding & sheets stained (plenty of pillows) missing window screens, broken/dusty blinds, kitchen utensils not enough for all guests. We will definitely be back but maybe try a different home.

Disappointed
The location was good, the 4 bedrooms were nice, king size beds in every room. Nice open floor plan. We communicated concerns to Fireside Chalets which I hope they address.
Property was clean and as advertised. A little on the older side, could use some TLC in a few areas. The basement bathroom has a rip in the flooring next to the tub and the floor below the rip feels squishy, may have some rotten subfloor in that location. In the basement bedroom there is a spot on the carpet that was either melted or something spilled that should be addressed. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher definitely show their age and could use a deep clean but function. It was odd that there were no kitchen towels, dishrags or pot holders in the kitchen. Upon arrival we had to fill the hot tub as it was left half empty. The issues that we found did not deter us from remaining at the property once we were there but may deter others and should probably be addressed.
The cabin was wonderful. I will definitely rent there again. Everything was clean and lots of room for our family. We all enjoyed our stay as we celebrated our mom's 82nd birthday. Thank you amazing grace for helping make our memories special. I will be a return customer for sure.
I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my family. Not only was it close to the fun, but it was super close to hubby's dialysis clinic. It had plenty of rooms and ample places to sleep for our big family of 10. Had minor issue and was resolved promptly by staff. Would definitely stay here again. Bring cleaning supplies and trash bags.
My family and I came down for a Christmas get away that we do every year and we have stayed in a cabin every time and always a different one. We have all agreed that this is probably one of the most unclean cabins that we have ever stayed in. When we arrived we always do a check before moving anything in and we noticed right away that it was not cleaned very good at all. There was dirty socks in the down stairs bedroom, chewed/broken nut shells in the floor down stairs that fell out of the couch and recliner when sitting in them, the shower curtain downstairs had black mold stain on it, the bath towels has dark stains on them like they weren’t washed and the pillows that were on the couches where nasty and covered in stains. We were very glad that there was a lot of blankets in the cabin because it was freezing cold in there. We tried to change the temp many times but we decided that someone must have control over thermostat and kept changing it back. We had to bring out electric heaters to get the house warm. Also when we arrived we noticed a lot of damages that was not fixed/repaired from the last few stays in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen table cloth was very unclean as well with dead lady bugs stuck to it. When we arrived the hot tub was about half full of water so we have to fill it up before using it. Another thing that we were very irritated about was that the majority of the light bulbs and fixtures weren’t working especially in the stair well which was very dangerous. The only two things that we can say positive about the cabin was that it had plenty of utensils/ dishes in the kitchen for us to use and the location/drive to the cabin was simple.
Great communication with property management. Cabin was clean but not throughly clean. Does need some maintenance..example two drawers in fridge have broken spots so if you pull drawer out foully, the drawer falls out, table leaves aren’t latched and table needs to be refinished on top, sofas are well used, ceiling fans wobble and make noise. Again, nothing major, we had everything we needed and it was a great place to stay. It just needs some minor maintenance. We would stay here again.
The property wasn't as nice as we expected due to previous damages, overall cleanliness and the fact that our hot tub stopped working during the stay. We called the office and they sent out a repair man out immediately who said everything was working correctly when he left, but the breaker continued to flip every time we turned the jets on. Overall it was a nice stay and a good location, and we would consider staying again if the fore mentioned issues were corrected.
Very nice cabin. Enjoyed staying here with our big family. It was clean, cozy and spacious.

Great Location
The location is great, close to all the attractions. A couple things which can improve is the dingy shower curtains. The lawn needs to be mowed. Other than this I recommend this cabin to others.
Really beautiful cabin. We really enjoyed the stay. Will definitely come back. Close to all activities.

Easy to get to location
Not bad overall but could use some updating. There are no window treatments in the main floor living room so everyone walking or driving by can see everything you are doing. Hot tub was dirty, missing exterior panels and needs replaced. No outlets in the main floor bathroom worked. The security light outside the main floor bedroom turns on about every 3 minutes for 30 seconds and shuts off again all night long. Shower in the main floor master bathroom was very small (like an RV size) and the water smelled off. There was only two of us so we never went in the other bedrooms. The grass was about a foot tall, which typically is not an issue, but in some places it was as tall as our dog.
Our group of ten had enough room to be comfortable. Added en suites would have been a bonus. We enjoyed every part of the house.

Such a Shame!
Checked in and found no internet. Two of the comforters were badly soiled. Not enough silverware for the 12 the cabin said it accommodated. Ran out of toilet paper in one bathroom and trash bags so we called for more. We were told they only put one roll of toliet paper in each bathroom per week and also only so many trash bags to use! Carpeting was dirty and snagged. Main seating area couch and love seat very worn. Decorations were hodgepodge. Decks had peeling stain and it looked like someone started the job of restaining at various times and quit. Coffee pot was not working and no coffee filters available. No hair dryers or bath mats in bathrooms. I guess they wanted you to use the ONE towel per guest given for the whole week to also step out of the tub or shower on. Caulking in shower was moldy and cracked. Grass needed cut and weeds growing out from under the porch. The front door was filthy and welcome mats ratty. Paint peeling in one bedroom. Shower curtain rods rusty and curtains moldy. Such a shame as every other cabin in the neighborhood was nicely maintained...we were in the ghetto cabin. We checked in and were given maps to where the neighborhood pool was. We anxiously set out to use it the next day and then found out that we could not have access to the pool because the owner did not pay the fees to use the pool. The actual cabin is not secluded and not very close to the park and hiking. It was close enough to all the Pigeon Forge shops though. There were plenty of sharp knives available and coffee mugs, plates and bowls. The hot tub was nice too. I think this would be a lovely place if maintenance was done and pride taken in the property. The maintenance company did come right away to take care of the silverware, coffee pot, dirty bedding, and internet. We did not like their toliet paper and trash bag policy AT ALL! I guess there was something written in what we signed when we checked in. In all of our 40 years of traveling with our family we never came across a toilet paper or trash bag rationing!!

Some repairs needed, closet door, back door knob, toilet in upper level sometimes does not shut off.
Overall cleanliness was lacking, and not enough towels in full bath rooms. Hot tub not working upon arrival, but was fixed in a timely manner.
