- Guests must come inside the property by 10.30pm
- No additional guests to visit unless by prior arrangement
- Security camera and video doorbell installed
If you or any of your group are looking for long noisy nights in the hot tub or anywhere outside, we respectfully ask that you consider elsewhere. If you are respectful people who are happy to carry on with your socialising inside after 10.30pm, then this is most definitely the place for you!
Please also note that this property is only available for 4 nights or more during the weekdays. We cannot set this up on VRBO so sadly we have to monitor bookings and regretfully decline any weekday bookings that are not for 4 days or more
THE DETAIL:
A spacious well laid out home with a great open living space which includes the kitchen, lounge and dining area.
As we are keen cooks, the kitchen is very well-equipped. It has a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, double oven, gas hob, microwave and a quality 'bean to cup' coffee machine. In addition there are many more kitchen tools, you will not need anything else while you stay at this house! (Even though Bath has the most amazing restaurants, you might just be tempted to cook an occasional gourmet meal at home :)
The kitchen area has a breakfast bar with three stools and an area to set up a laptop with an additional stool, making this a great 'planning' area for the day ahead. Our home is well-equipped for today's technology with hi speed internet access, USB sockets and ethernet connections in every room. Our broadband is powered by fast 'fibre to the premise' (FTTP) technology.
There is a separate utility room with an additional fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble drier, which you are welcome to use (there will always be plenty of washing powder provided).
The ground floor also includes a separate 'den' equipped with TV, games consoles and DVD player. This room also has a very comfortable double sofa bed, with deep memory foam mattress, which can be used occasionally if required - for booked guests only, not for extra guests. (Please let us know if you need to use it and we can make sure that bedding is available).
There is a toilet and washbasin on the ground floor.
There are four large bedrooms in our home.
There is a king-sized bed and en-suite shower room in the master bedroom. This is on the top (attic) floor.
On the middle floor there is a king bed in bedroom 2. There is a king bed in bedroom 3 and this bedroom also has an en-suite shower room, which can convert to another family shower room by means of a 'Jack and Jill' door.
Finally there are twin (adult sized) single beds in bedroom 4.
There is an additional separate luxury main family bathroom with large walk-in shower, stand-alone bath and stunning mood lighting . This room has amazing views over open countryside, and blinds for privacy.
The private garden has a high quality hot tub which can seat up to 7 people. There is a lovely patio with a large table ideal for outdoor dining and also four comfortable lounge-style chairs and coffee table under a fixed gazebo. The garden has some lovely ambient lighting to make sitting out in the evening really special. There is also a quality Webber barbeque, ideal for outdoor entertaining and we will make barbeque charcoal available for you if you need it.
The garden has a rural aspect across a field which leads up to the Bath "Skyline Walk". We often see local wildlife in the field such as deer, badgers and foxes.
The front of the house has stunning views across the beautiful Georgian city of Bath.
To the front of the property is off road parking for three cars. We can also provide permits for parking on the road if needed, meaning you can enjoy free parking for plenty of cars - a real bonus in Bath!
The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac.
