In the Middle Ages, Amlwch's harbour was a bustling commercial centre. Beautiful sandy beaches and breath-taking cliff top walks, as well as world-class fishing and golf, are all nearby. There are many things to do in Beaumaris including a visit to its 13th century castle or take a day trip to Snowdonia or to Dublin via Holyhead port, which is just a short drive away.
