Less than satisfied

Apartment views are lovely, apartment is clean and spacious. Kitchen is adequately stocked for 4 people and appliances were in working order. Amenities on Sykes cottages lists an ensuite bathroom with a handheld shower in addition to the main bathroom shower. This is NOT accurate. It was tub ONLY. Misleading at best (a lie at worst), and part of our decision to book was based on 2 shower options for 4 people. The beds are *extremely* uncomfortable and are the main reason we would not stay here again. After a terrible night's sleep the first night, we had to improvise by putting cushions and pillows on top of the mattresses to make the remaining 5 nights somewhat bearable. Toilet paper is not listed as an item to bring, so we didn't bring any. When it ran out on day 3 of a 6 night stay we enquired about getting more and were told they would not supply any more. So we had to buy more. Based on the extreme discomfort sleeping we would not stay here again. Based on the misleading information on the Sykes cottages listing of amenities and what to bring, (and also the difficulty communicating with their office and uninterested indifference of the person we finally spoke with) we would not trust other Sykes cottages amenities listings.
