Our stay at Meadows Edge cottage with friends was the perfect Feb break for us. The ample space for 4 was comfy and beautifully appointed with special touches along with all the mod coms that make life easy. The private hot tub is a great bonus, but the woodland setting with its dark sky star-watching possibilities was enough on its own to get us booking. An easy drive over to Whitby for the day was a great bonus. We look forward to returning again.
The cottage has literally everything you could need.
The host was friendly and also provided us with bread and milk.
The whole stay was fantastic and will be returning.
Had the most amazing time celebrating with friends. The cottage was spacious and clean with everything you needed including gorgeous log fire for when it got cooler at night. Our greeter Karen was lovely and told us everything we needed to know. Nice touches such as wellies and brollies to borrow for one showery morning. Would love to come again and will recommend anyone to make a visit too.
A gorgeous cosy little cottage with a great log fire and hot tub! Very private and relaxing. Lovely large bedrooms each with an ensuite. Very well equipped with everything that you need, even provided towels for the hot tub.
Lovely property idyllic spot.Difficult location to find using postcode on sat nav.
Relaxed but responsive property manager.
Hotub nice but too high chlorine bleached swimwear and towels and skin irritation discussed with property manager at time.
We stayed for 3 nights and was made to feel so welcome by Gill and Tom. Nothing was too much trouble and the cottage itself was beautiful and spacious. Perfect weekend.
We stayed for two nights in the cottage with the hot tub it was fantastic ..i went with a friend for a relaxing few days and we got it. Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay
Set in a stunning location and was the perfect place for lots of rest and relaxation. Enjoyed the lovely walks in the fresh air and can honestly say the hot tub after a long walk was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
We stayed as a family of 4, on arrival we were greeted by Beth who was very welcoming, the cottage was immaculate and the pictures really don’t do it justice, it was warm cozy, welcoming and equipped with everything and more that you would ever need. The hot tub was a bonus and our boys loved it after a days exploring, wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.
