Fantastic cottage, so well equipped, spotless, beautifully decorated and amazing views.

Fantastic cottage, so well equipped, spotless, beautifully decorated and amazing views. The owners are very kind too. We have rented a lot of cottages & this is an absolute gem! The only downside for us was the lack of cafe/shop within the village but there is a big Tesco’s 5 miles away.

We were delighted with all aspects of the cottage.

We were delighted with all aspects of the cottage. Extremely well equipped and comfortable. Fresh flowers and plants gave it a homely feel. It was a good location for us, as we were able to visit a variety of National Trust properties and to do some coastal walks. Excellent.

An absolutely outstanding holiday cottage.

An absolutely outstanding holiday cottage. The owners have thought of everything anyone could want to make their stay memorable, it is a credit to them. The location is perfect too for getting out and about in what is on of the most beautiful parts of the world.

This is a beautifully and stylishly decorated cottage.

This is a beautifully and stylishly decorated cottage. The owners have been very thoughtful in their provision of things to make a stay enjoyable. We didn't need to light a fire but all was ready to do so. It is only a short walk down to the beach and not far up the hill into the Forvie Nature reserve. You do need a car as there are no shops for provisions in the village - just an ice-cream cafe that is open in the daytime and a van selling fish one evening; and there is no pub or restaurant within walking distance. It is a good excuse, though, to spend cosy evenings inside or, with fine weather in the long summer evenings, sitting outside!

An absolute gem of the north.

An absolute gem of the north. A beautiful fishing cottage renovation, tastefully and thoughtfully furnished with everything comfort. Lovely easy to work in kitchen with everything you could possibly need, wonderfully clean and classy bathroom with cozy living and dining rooms. Morning coffee on the bench outside watching the harbour, lovely after dinner walks along the coastal paths (great secluded sand beach about one mile south coastal walk through the nature reserve) what is not to love about this house!!! Locals are friendly, huge Tesco nearby in Ellon and easy access to the big roads to get to all the nice close by tourist spots. Loved our stay, loved the house.

We had such a lovely stay at Seaton Cottage.

We had such a lovely stay at Seaton Cottage. It was our first time in the area and the cottage was situated in the gorgeous little village of Collieston. The cottage was perfect, everything you could possibly need was catered for down to the board games and huge variety of kitchen equipment. Our favourite aspect of the cottage was the dining room with the original stone wall and the 2 wood burning fires in the cottage, perfect for rainy days and cosy nights. Everything was incredibly clean and neat and we really could not fault this place at all. The owners have done a wonderful job and we can’t thank them enough for ensuring our stay was perfect especially with them being easy to contact if we needed to! One day we would love to come back and stay at Seaton cottage and explore the wonderful surroundings even more.

Seaton is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location with great views of the harbour and North Sea and a good place from which to explore the surrounding area. Very well fitted out & furnished to a stylish high standard. Spacious with kitchen, dining room, lounge, bathroom (shower only), two bobble bedrooms and outside spaces to sit. Those with limited mobility may find the uneven, steep stairs too difficult to navigate. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning.
