Charming Pet Friendly Cottage-Beach Service Included!

Welcome to paradise! This 3 bedroom 2 bath beach cottage is located in the wonderful Maravilla Resort! You will experience all the comforts of home while staying in this beautifully decorated "Beachy Bugalow". There is a king size bed in the master suite with a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a double size bed. The living room has plenty of room for seating and also has a pull out sleeper sofa for extra accommodations. The living room and all bedrooms have flat screen TV's. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and there is a gas grill on the back patio for cookouts. The dining area has seating for six and there is an outdoor dining table that seats four. There are two bar stools at the kitchen island which provides additional seating. The home has a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. We know your pets are part of your family too so we do allow dogs!

Beachy Bungalow is located on the north end of the resort but is a short stroll to the beach (three tenths of a mile to be exact). The house has a wagon to help you get your gear to the beach. You also have the option to park closer to the beach access if you need to. You have two complimentary beach chairs and one umbrella (March 15 - October 30th) when you step foot in the sand. There are two community pools and hot tubs within the resort. Maravilla also offers tennis courts, basketball goals, a shuffleboard court and a small fitness area. There is a walking/running/bike trail along Scenic Gulf Dr. that attracts many especially in the morning hours. Maravilla is conveniently located in a prime area for all activities in Destin and the surrounding area! There are restaurants and bars within walking distance. Shopping, golf, and much much more are right around the corner!!

Great location!

Loved the location of this house. Very walkable to the beach with our 3 young kids. We also loved having beach chair/umbrella service. Had everything we needed (appreciated the air fryer and beach wagon!) for a great vacation. Would recommend for families and those traveling with pets!

Beach Vacation

Very nice cottage and neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach, and the beach service was a plus. Cottage was clean and kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed using the grill on the patio. Good communication with management. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay

We had a great time at this location. The place was very clean, easy to find, and located in the middle of everything we needed or wanted to see. Check-in and check-out was a simple process. We would highly recommend this location to someone with multiple family members and children.

Family vacation

Great proximity to the beach so parking is not an issue. Short east drive to restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. House was clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

Cute house! Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. Nice walk to the beach. If you don’t want to walk, you can drive your car to the front of the resort to greatly shorten your walk. Nice pools and several areas to rinse off after staying on the gorgeous beach. Would recommend!!

We loved it here!

Cute cottage. 8 mile walk to beach but good exercise for my husband and me! Our kids were there for a few days. We liked how the bedrooms were separated on either side of the kitchen so we had more privacy. It was nice to have a garage to pull in at night. Guy next door was friendly!

Beachy Bungalow was great!

This is a great house and location! Clean, well-decorated and owner/manager maximizes the space with smart arrangement and up-to-date decor. Easy access to beach. Ice maker in front of Miravilla saves a trip to the store! Nice sidewalks in neighborhood for enjoyable walks.

The property location was great. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/dishes/etc. You just need the groceries. The gated community is quiet and other residents and guests were friendly. The host is really responsive and helpful if you have any issues or questions. 10/10 would stay again.

Family vacation

The house was a perfect place for my family. It was very clean and comfortable. The seating in the living room was perfect for all of us to spend together in the quiet times and my grandchild had plenty of room to play. The property is beautiful and the beach access was very easy to come and go. The manager of the property was vey quick to respond to questions and resolve any issues. It was a great experience.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this property. It is very well laid out and great proximity to the beach, dining, and shopping. The furnishing and amenities are all you would expect. Our only complaint is that the management company does not provide any extra trash bags. small thing, but disappointing in a property of this level.

Spring Break 2024

The cottage was great. The location is perfect. You can walk to a number of restaurants and of course the beach, along with beach service! Kitchen had all the necessary items. We were able to enjoy the grill on the back patio. The house is a short walk from the beach, but the gorilla cart made it easy to bring all our beach needs with us. The garage was nice for storing our bikes. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. We stayed at Maravilla a few years ago, and since then they’ve resurfaced the tennis courts and added pickleball and bags/cornhole. There was plenty for the teens to do. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful. The fitness center is also nice, with a couple treadmills, elliptical, weights, etc. We had a great time! Sad to go, but will be back!

Wonderful!!!!

We had a great vacation and everything about the house was perfect. It was clean, very nice, and had everything we needed. We loved that it is at the end of street and very quiet. The beach wasn’t very far away but we did choose to drive closer to the beach since the heat was so bad for walking. The beach was nice but only complaint is one of the beach chair set up guys was very rude to me. I chose not to use the beach chair/umbrella provided after that. We just took the chairs from the house and didn’t bother with the other ones. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Not a family neighborhood

This was my husband and I second time staying here and will be our last. The property was clean and as stated in listing but the neighbors are awful. The neighbors next door who are permanent residents watch you and everything your doing.There are rules to this neighborhood and if they feel your doing something outside their neighborhood rules they will confront you and be very rude. It’s not a vacation stay for families.

It was very nice and clean. Beds were pretty hard so our backs hurt. It was a long walk to the beach with two toddlers under 2 years old. The kitchen needed a few items but was enough to get the job done. I brought my own Large pot so we managed. The beach was actually the disappointment. The red tide was in so everyone was coughing and stayed sick the whole time. But we enjoyed everything else that Destin has to offer like the The Track.

Amazing week

We stayed for 5 days and were able to bring our girls (dogs). The house was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and it is a great location in a gated condo community. We had 4 adults, and the beach chair situation was less than ideal and the guy running it is rude. 2 chairs and an umbrella are available with the rental but you have to rent 2 more chairs and an umbrella if you have 4 people. The cost of daily rental is $50. We opted to drive the short distance to the public beach and use our own chairs and our beach tent for free, as he would.not let us set up our tent behind the rental chairs. That didn't mess up our trip as we are pretty felxible, but it would have been good to know. We would definitely stay again!

Clean home

Overall we had a great time. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for our needs. My biggest complaint is that the clothes dryer took 3-4 hours to dry a load of clothes, which means being there to restart it 3 times. I think a heating element is broken. The kitchen was well-stocked with kitchen tools and appliances. It would have been nice to have a map of Maravilla. We didn't find the heated pool until a day before we left. The house is all tile, which made me a little nervous about kids slipping, but since it's pet-friendly, I understand why. The walk to the beach is pretty far with kids, especially if you plan to go to the beach a couple of times in one day. We would go and then come home for lunch and then back to the beach in the afternoon. Those 4 trips were way too much for several kids. We ended up driving, and it saved half of the walking. The wagon's wheels were broken, so we couldn't use that. Like most VRBOs, you still need to bring toilet paper, trash bags, soap, dish soap, shampoo, paper towels. We enjoyed the cable TV and internet. There is a Dollar General very close by, which was helpful. Overall, a good time, just a few issues.

Mis vacaciones en Destin Fl , Maravilla

Me quede por 5 noches , la casa fue mucho más que lo esperado , hermosa , amplia , limpia y con todo lo necesario hasta de más , ya quiero volver a tentarme en esa misma casa , muy impresionante lo fácil que los propietarios se comunicaban conmigo , la comunidad super hermosa y dos años atrás ya visitaba Hi mismo en Miramar pero en los condominio pero jamás cambiar la casa por el condominio, hasta en la orilla de playa las sillas con la sombrilla , todo a la mano , muy satisfecha mi familia y sin dejar de mencionar que lleve sin problemas mis 3 mascotas y todo muy bien . Recomiendo al 100% esta casa y lo único que yo encontré no mal del todo pero si con dificultades es la televisión en la casa tiene tv en todas las agitaciones pero solo logramos usar la del cuarto principal y un solo canal los demás cuartos y la sala no se pudieron usar pero creo que ces algo pequeño que pueden arreglar .
