Luxury traditional stone farmhouse, stunning views

Built in the 1700s and modernised in 2019 Shiloh Farm is a stone built farm house, near Delph, Saddleworth surrounded by acres of farmland and moorland. With two country pubs within walking distance and all the attractions of Saddleworth no more than 3 miles away you'll have plenty to see and do during your stay. Situated at the end of a no through road, Shiloh farm is the perfect location to get away from the hustle of the city whilst being only a 30 minute drive from the center of Manchester.

Shiloh Farm has all the amenities you could need in a home away from home. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen heated by underfloor heating, with seating for 6 around a central island with its own wine cooler. Up a couple of steps the property boasts a huge 40m2 lounge with large comfortable sofa and seating for 8 around the TV and wood-burning stove (some fuel provided). Furthermore a dining area that seats 8 makes this room perfect for a group celebration. In addition to this there is a ground floor w/c with shower and a utility room with washing machine/dryer which guests are free to use.

We have super fast microwave WiFi great for catching up on work, or keeping the kids entertained. In the lounge there is Netflix, and a surround sound system connected to the TV, perfect for watching a film in the evening by a fire. In addition to this there are wireless speakers in the kitchen and family bathroom so you can stream music from your own devices. (iOS and Android compatible)

There are 3 pubs within walking distance the closest being The Roebuck, (10 minutes away) offering good home cooked food and stunning views of Oldham and Manchester on a clear day. In addition to this Uppermill is a 10 minute drive, with a great offering cafes, bars restaurants, museums and walks on offer there is something for everyone.

To enjoy the area you will need a car. The nearest public transport is about a mile away, from the Metrolink station there are 4 trams an hour into Manchester City Center. Half Term Break

A great stay at Shiloh Farm Dom was really helpful with queries we had pre booking and when we couldn't get to the key to check in because of the snow causing the key box to freeze! The house was so clean tidy and had everything we needed. Very warm which was much needed given we arrived in snow and storms. The Roebuck Inn is just a 10 mins walk away really good local! Sofas are a little low and not great for the older members of our family to get up off but everything else was great. Thanks so much for a lovely few days away in the Peaks 😁

Rural getaway

Lovely property with a fabulous kitchen. Perfect for our group of 8. We spent most of our time in the house but did venture out for a walk into Delph - be warned it is a steep walk home. Great break in a beautiful house.

GREAT PROPERTY AND HOST

We rented this property for my sons wedding. It is a lovely spacious property in a beautiful location. Our host Dom, was great and so accommodating. The bride and her maids got dressed at the property . It was so busy with photographers, make up artists and hairdressers and not once did Dom complained. Thank you so much for everything - we will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful property, but not without some small issues that could easily have been rectified

Great location being totally out of the way. Disappointed instantly by the garden. Table and chairs above carpark area. Not a garden in my eyes. Inside it was as good as the pictures showed it. Massive kitchen. Massive seating area. Views were obstruted by trees and could see extension reels and caravans close by. Upstairs bathroom had broken mirror, with the jacuzzi taking 40 minutes to try and fill with the bath waste not sealing so water leaking out. Finally got the jets working and was gutted they were so low pressure. Quirky flooring is what you expect but king size bed made a racket getting in it, moving and getting out. Also surprised no tv's upstairs. Downstairs toilet had broken seat. Front door was stiff and made very loud noises opening and closing. Could be down to the heat. Owner allowed us to check in early and the house was clean. We felt comfortable and safe being inside.
