Turkey Run is a beautiful, welcoming home that we can't wait to share with you. From top to bottom, you'll find attention to detail; comfy beds, warm, relaxing decor and a great pool table and media room to relax. Wisconsin Dells has so much to offer, but you'll really appreciate coming home to this private haven just a couple of minutes out of town. Turkey Run gets it's name from the wild turkeys that roam the property and adjoining fields. If you look closely, you'll see deer, rabbits and lots of birds as well. As you drive up to the property, you'll be welcomed by a wide front porch to enjoy the sunrise and watch the wildlife. We supply the comfy chairs, you just need the coffee! As you open the door, you'll be greeted with soaring ceilings, a gorgeous fireplace and many one of a kind decorating pieces. The living room is a perfect place to relax with a cozy fire and a book or watch your favorite show on the 55 in TV. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils for you to cook to your hearts content. We are close enough to downtown to enjoy takeout or delivery! There is plenty of seating around the custom log table as well as the one of a kind bar with seating for 4. Theres also a card table and extra chairs available. The rest of the main floor consists of a large bedroom, a gorgeous bath with a whirlpool tub and a tiled shower as well as a half bath. There is also an over-sized back deck perfect for grilling and hanging out. We supply the grill, propane and tools, you bring the food. Upstairs, you'll find another full bath, a loft living area with great seating, a pull-out couch and a TV/DVD player and 2 more bedrooms. The view of the main living room is fantastic from here! In the basement, you'll find a fully outfitted pool room with a full size pool table, 2 more bedrooms and a 3rd living room with a super comfortable sectional, pub table and a 65 in smart TV and DVD player. It is of utmost importance to us that you and your group have a superior vacation experience at Turkey Run. We manage our own properties and really care about each of our guests. There are many lodging options in the Dells and we are thrilled that you are considering Turkey Run. We are confident that this top of the line, new home will exceed your expectations. Celebrating My 60th Birthday

What an amazing place the Luxurious Turkey Run was! We wanted a place close to the water parks in the Dells where all of us (8 adults and 6 kids) could stay ... this home was exactly everything we needed! Sondra's communication with me was A! When I reached out about the second have of the payment, she quickly responded. She even called me a few days before our check-in to introduce herself and to let us know that we could contact her if we needed anything. The pool table in the basement was a bonus of fun for some of the adults. The home is beautiful and, again, our host, Sondra, was fantastic ... before and after our time there! Extended Family Weekend Getaway.

We came to town to meet up with our extended families for some horseback riding and bike riding. Great place, perfect for a large group. Great location to food and entertainment, beautiful country cabin. We will come back.

Turkey Run Tribute

We had a family reunion at Turkey Run for a week. It was a great location in Wisconsin Dells and the property was phenominal. It was able to accommodate our group and allowed us to have lots of options at the property including pool, BBQ, fire pit, front and back patios for visiting. The home can accommodate large and small groups. The home is located very close to the downtown area of Wisconsin Dells but it is located in the countryside and very quiet and peaceful. A great location. The home is very clean and well decorated including three large TVs. Everyone enjoyed our stay at Turkey Run and appreciated this wonderful residence that could accommodate our group

The luxurious turkey run is a house we will never forget! So much charm & space to have all your favorite people. My fiancé and I had a joined bachelor/bachelorette party here with our bridal party. Very clean and inviting property. Nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. Location very private with large front porch as well as deck with two large picnic tables and grill. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and quiet location yet being a little over a mile from Wis Dells restaurants and activities. Great vacation!

Great place to stay

The property was great! Had plenty of room for our family! The pool table in the basement was used a lot since there were too many mosquitoes for us to enjoy being outside. There is a pretty big temperature difference between the three floors. But there were fans to help with the warmer temp on the 2nd floor and there was a heater to use for the cooler temp in the basement. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware we needed to make our meals. Plenty of dinnerware too. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a large home to accommodate a lot of people.

Property was as good as advertised. No bad surprises. Quiet secluded location, but only 5 minutes from town which is nice. Excellent communication with the property manager. We cooked 3 dinners and everything in the kitchen and the grill was functional. Plenty of utensils. Just bring your own food and napkins and you're set. Pool table was just okay. This isn't a major complaint, but it's very difficult to get a comfortable temperature on all 3 levels. To cool the upstairs you need to set the thermostat so low that it's freezing in the basement. Again not a deal breaker and I would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Top notch place

We held 3 generation bi-annual family vacation at Turkey Run. It was perfect!! Only 10 minutes from activities but beautiful and secluded when we wanted quiet. Great outdoors for kids to run. Multiple locations for people to play games or visit with each other. Management personally called the day before check-in to make us aware of a road closure that could add additional time to our arrival. I highly recommend this property.

Turkey Run

This is a very nice large cabin accommodating large groups. There are three living areas which allow guests to spread out on its three floors. A bathroom on the bottom level would have been nice for the occupants of the two bedrooms there. Nicely stocked kitchen with everything one might need. The only negative was a gas fireplace in the main room that was not working and was drafty.

Great location for a family gathering

We had a wonderful stay this last weekend for our family Holiday get together. This was a great location, just 2 hours from family in Eau Claire and 2 hours from family in Milwaukee. Having the 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths was very convenient. The home is decorated very cute. The gas fireplace was a nice touch after arriving during a blizzard and then leaving with windchills below 0 degrees. The property had all the amenities we needed and they were very clear about what they didnt have so we knew to pack accordingly. We will definately book with Rustic Retreats again in the future.

Why they chose this property

We built this home in 2016 after falling in love with the land it sits on. It's surrounded by beautiful farm fields that are picturesque and great for wildlife watching. This home located close to town, but you seem miles away because of how peaceful it is here. The house we chose to build was carefully selected to be warm and inviting with an emphasis on having a wonderful open area for gathering. We also carved out space in the front and back of the house to enjoy the surroundings. We're confident you'll love this welcoming and cozy home!

What makes this property unique

Wisconsin Dells is the perfect backdrop for this custom home. Leon and Sondra took great care during construction and decorating to maintain a rustic "up-north" feeling. Logs were picked by hand and most of the furniture and decorations hand crafted by Leon himself and other skilled local craftsmen. You'll feel the care that went into Turkey Run from the moment you drive up the driveway. There are large front and back decks for you to relax and enjoy these beautiful surroundings, but you may have a hard time wanting to leave the inside!
