Brackenmoor is situated in a peaceful mews style courtyard in the center of Sticklepath village right on the edge of Dartmoor and dogs are welcome.
The village has 2 pubs, a village shop & cafe, direct access to wonderful walking at Skaigh woods straight on to Dartmoor and the National Trust's Finch Foundry Museum with tea room.
The property has recently been completely refurbished with the aim of providing a luxurious base for even the most discerning holiday maker.
On the spacious open plan ground floor, the character has been preserved by exposing natural wood and stone with the addition of oak and slate floors . Comprising of a split level sitting/dining room with a woodburing stove and a raised kitchen with new 5 ring ceramic hob, half dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine.
On the first floor, you will be greeted by a galleried landing leading to two beautifully presented en-suite double bedrooms of a more modern/contemporary style with brand new carpets throughout.
A new oil fired central heating system has been installed to provide guests with ample warmth and hot water.

About the host

Having set up my own group holiday rental business, House Party Solutions 15 years ago, I have a genuine passion for gorgeous properties and fabulous interiors.
Now that I am in the fortunate position to step away from the day-to-day running of the business, I have embarked on creating my own holiday rental in the nearby Dartmoor village of Sticklepath.
The refurbishment and deciding on the design, style and presentation has been one of enjoyable things I have ever done!
I hope to welcome you to 'Brackenmoor' and this part of the Dartmoor National Park soon.
