A second visit to a lovely cottage.
Our second visit to Burn Bank cottage; the first five years ago. A really beautiful and peaceful location amongst stunning countryside with lovely views, wildlife, some inquisitive cattle in the field next to the back garden and during sunny weather, amazing skies and sun sets. Very comfortable and well equipped inside and the large conservatory is perfect to sit and eat and relax whilst taking in the wonderful scenery. Walks on the doorstep to keep a happy holiday dog even happier. Also a perfect base for visiting many nearby beaches and inumerable local sights.l

Fabulous cosy cottage
The cottage suited us perfctly. Weather was cold and grey outside, but as soon as we turned the heating on inside, and got the solid fuel stove going, we were as toasty as could be. Cottage had everything we needed - super soft beds, comfy sofas, wel-equipped kitchen, endless hot water, and plenty of space for 4 grown-ups. Had the weather been better it would be been lovely to sit out in the garden and enjoy the view - and you can see the over to the sea from the front - but the view from the conservatory was super in any case. Just to note that the cottage is about a mile from the village of Belford itself, so a car is needed. All in all highly recommended, and would certainly come back.

Cozy cottage and beautiful setting
Fantastic setting so peaceful with beautiful views. Very cosy well equipped cottage. A perfect base for exploring the beautiful countryside. Only downside was that the next door cottage was also a holiday home so privacy while in the amazing big conservatory with fantastic views of the countryside was limited. Blinds on that side would have earned an extra star.

Peace and quiet
As Burn Bank Cottage is on a working farm it was perfect for us. The cottage itself was very well equipped it had everything we needed, it was very comfortable and having the conservatory was a definite bonus, we spent many hours sitting on the very comfortable chairs watching the wildlife. If you want to get away from it all this is the place for you, but you are only a short drive away from many of the attractions Northumberland has to offer.
