Comfortable, well equipped loved the bed, only niggle was the garden was not fully enclosed still had to keep an eye on the dogs Other than that great stay
Did not disappoint! Photos can sometimes be misleading as to how truly isolated a property can be but this beautiful cottage is in the middle of a number of ajdoining agricultural fields with views to die for. Still accessable by car, however we didnt take the car out once as you will wnat to walk or simply hunker down with the fire in the thoughtfully decorated and updated thick walled cottage. Everything was pristine, plenty of room for ourselves and the dog, enormous accessable shower room and the garden and summerhouse a treat. You get the benefit of sunrises and sunsets and nice fresh linens and decor. Loved it!
We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful property.Such a peaceful place and stunning views! Everything was there that we need for our stay and everything so clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, dudnt want to leave
Very clean, easy to find, beautiful location. VERY comfy bed, warm, well stocked kitchen with thoughtful touches. Fantastic walks right from the doorstep. Excellent dark sky for stargazing.
I had a lovely stay. Liz, the host was excellent with communication and even delivered more logs when I was running low. I would definitely recommend as a perfect "getting away from it all" place.
This was our second stay here at the cottage and we absolutely loved it. Wonderful scenery, nice and quiet location and Liz, the owner, is very helpful indeed. We will definitely be back for a third stay
Lovely cottage in a lovely setting. Everything we needed was available to us. Liz (host) was available if required and communicated well before our arrival. My husband and I loved being in a "remote" location while knowing there were houses close by if we needed anything.Keep up the good work Liz.
The most idyllic cottage stay, exactly what I was looking for. Ideal location for quiet walks with my dogs in every direction from the cottage, didn't need to take the car out once!
Liz was absolutely amazing, gave me some suggestions for local walks and communicated the check in process and cottage location.
We will definitely be back.
Spent a few days resting and recovering in this beautiful little cottage. It’s amazing how this seemingly historic stone bungalow has been transformed into a modern and comfortable house inside with the luxuries for a perfect vacation.
Quiet, cosy, comfortable, clean, private, and with walks from the doorstep in all directions, this place was everything we were looking for and a lot more.
Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness.
We absolutely loved our short stay here. The cottage is lovely, garden is a real bonus. We especially loved the summer house on a sunny day with a cup of tea. Best thing for us was dog walks straight from the door in various directions. Excellent woodlands nearby to explore. Thank you so much!
The cottage is spacious enough for two adults, well equipped and clean. The furnishings were of a good quality and comfortable and the quality of the bed linen was good. The outlook is superb, although access was a bit difficult at the time of our stay, but this wasn't anything that the host could do anything about. Privacy was an issue as there are walking paths around the cottage and they were well used by dog walkers during our stay. The garden was well set out with patio furniture but unfortunately isn't fully enclosed which wasn't ideal for us as dogs off their lead ran into the garden. The host was very helpful and friendly.
