This cute, clean home was perfect for our trip to the White Mountains for a funeral over Labor Day weekend. We almost didn’t go because holiday weekend hotel prices were through the roof and then I found ‘Grandma’s house’. Not only was the price great and we had extra space, but it was pet friendly! We will definitely stay here again if we come to the area!
This property was perfect for me. I really enjoyed the hummingbirds and squirrels every morning and evening. Everything inside was very comfortable, and I had everything I needed. I hope to return again soon.
Did no know it was a trailer, we had excellent time. With all the power strips
& plugs into everyone on an old trailer is very scary. That was our ony complaint. When your in back bedroom at night and a fire breaks, its scary

Enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Grandma’s House. It had everything we needed and then some. The large porch and great room addition was wonderful for relaxing and visiting with family. Terrific location close to hiking trails, fishing, shopping and restaurants. Loved the large tree-sy lot and abundant birds who stopped by. Definitely plan to book another vacation here!
Really enjoyed the cabin. Reminded me of being at grandma's house. All the darling nick knacks and color scemes. Well shocked wifh anything we would need. Looking forward to being there in August.
Overall stay was good. House was very quaint, peaceful neighborhood.
Only problem was the bbq grill couldn't be used so we didn't get to grill our anniversary dinner, ended up eating out.
The house is located in a very convenient location- near Safeway, hwy 260, as well as some nice easy trail access, and not about a 30 minute d rive to Sunrise mtn. The porch was our favorite part of the house. We were able to let our cats hang out on the porch without worry because it is gated and fenced. The house felt very private and the neighbor hood was quiet and the people were all very nice. We would stay here again.
Everything we expected and more, my family love everything about the place. The tree in the porch my favorite place. Thank you for sharing your home with my family, and our furbabies.
Felt like I was at my grandmas house. It had everything. So quiet just sitting on the porch swing listening to the wind blow though the leaves, it was magical. Loved the leather recliner.
Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a sick animal, but the place is exactly as it states. The owners have gone out of their way to make your stay as comfortable. Will come back in a heartbeat

Great location
Grandma's House was a great location. Loved sitting on the front porch and walking through the neighborhood. However, although the property had everything we needed, there was a lot of the owner's personal "stuff" (including clothes in the closet and an r.v. in the driveway) that made staying there feel a little odd. Note: This is a mobile home, not that that mattered to us, but it is older and it's showing its age.
Sometimes it's the simple things that make a place unique. At Bob's/Grandma's place, the porch is the star of the show. Someone had the wits to build it right around a massive pine tree. That my friends is genius.
Online listing a bit misleading. Not a 3 bedroom but a two bedroom with fold out couch in LR. Not a house but an older manufactured home. Nice friendly neighbors, close to everything. Nice hot shower with soap, shampoo/conditioner provided as well as many other misc items. Nice comfy mattress in back bedroom. Coffee maker and Keurig in kitchen. Bring your own coffee. All kinds of teas available. Napkins, paper plates, s&p, spices and much more all conveniently provided. Games, Legos, DVD's, books, reading material, ROKU TV and Netflix.

Met our needs perfectly!
Traveled to Pinetop area with my sister and a friend. We needed a place that was dog-friendly as we brought our two doggies. Grandma's House is set in a quiet neighborhood on a large tree covered lot with an huge porch. We spent a lot of time out there watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife that came to visit. The cabin was well laid out with plenty of room. The living room/dining room with the sofa bed made a great third bedroom (it even had access directly to porch). The place was very clean, very well equipped. Even though it didn't have AC, it had plenty of fans (even on front porch) that cooled things off nicely (it was warm in Lakeside/Pinetop the days that we were there). It's quaint, charming, comfortable...everything we were looking for. It's also convenient to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants. We had lunch at Pinetop Brewing Co and Long's Wongs, both had great food and were dog friendly. We didn't do much cooking, but did enjoy making nachos in the vintage Tappan oven (it worked great). The kitchen and bath were well stocked. There is a big gas grill and two picnic style tables outside. We were all tickled by the décor having grown up visiting our grandparent's homes that had similar décor. We found a cookbook that was exactly the same as one our grandmother had in her kitchen. Lots of laughs ensued as we read the recipes. We felt like we were staying at our own grandma's house. The owner even had a supply of bird and squirrel food available. If you are looking for a fancy place with modern décor...this would not be the place for you. If you enjoy a charming. comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood with lots of space to spread out (inside and out) and that is dog-friendly... you'll love Grandma's House. The owner was wonderful to deal with, answering emails very promptly. His instructions were very clear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grandma's House.

Great Cabin in the Pines...
We live in Fountain Hills, AZ and every year we do a long weekend for my birthday. With 100 plus degrees every day in the valley, we decided this year we were going to escape to the Show Low-Pinetop Lakeside area. At 6,800 feet we had great fall temperatures in 80’s during the day and 50’s at night.
After some research we decided to drop in and stay at Grandmas House. This quaint mobile home with a large addition (den) and front porch is set in a safe lovely community surrounded by tall trees in every direction. Lots of small wildlife and very friendly neighbors made the place complete. It was just my wife, our pit bull, Dolly, and me in this dog friendly home away from home. The cabin was dog friendly and included a stack of dog toys, but nothing that would hold up to the extreme chewing ability of a Pittie, so they were put safely in a high place. Everything was in 100% working order and appeared to be well maintained. Just bring your personal items and whatever food/chocolate you want and everything else you need is here. The place was well equipped. Towels were nice and thick, bathrobes provided, beds were very comfy as were pillows and blankets. There is WiFi in the house but no actual TV stations. Netflix was available and we used our iPads for TV.
The outside deck was big and a nice place to just relax between activities. There was a car port if needed in winter. There is also a gas grill, 2 picnic tables and plenty of outside seating.
There is Safeway located in a strip center a short walk away. Plenty of quality restaurants all around, many within a 2 mile radius along with the usual fast food chains. As far as organized things to do, it’s all about the weekends. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails, lakes for fishing and off-roading ATVing.
If you are going to walk around outside at night bring a good LED flash light (there was a flash light provided). It is dark as in VERY dark. Keep your dog on a short leash at night as there are skunks that could peak your dogs curiosity.
Bob, the owner of the house, was quick to answer emails and texts. Our security deposit was returned promptly.
Overall I would give Grandmas House a solid 10. Would love to have had a kind size bed and regular TV stations. Since that’s all that was lacking and it was no big deal, I am sure you will enjoy your stay here.
The home was very comfortable, the electronics (WiFi, TV, etc.,) were top notch, the location was quiet and beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the living room furniture was in good shape. I loved it!
