Casa di Vangelis is a beautiful, recently restored traditional house, located in the picturesque village of Chromonastiri, only a short drive away from Rethymno Old town and its long sandy beach. This 100 m2 Villa can accommodate 8 guests in its 4 spacious bedrooms and up to 11 if necessary.

Layout

The Villa is consisted of two independent areas with private entrances, both of which have access to the outdoor area. The first area features a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, including an indoor dining area and all appliances necessary for a self catered holiday that will enable you to prepare your homemade meals at ease. On the first floor you can find one of the Villas bedrooms, featuring a double bed (1,50 x2,00 m), 32 TV and an en-suite bathroom with shower cabin.

Entering the second autonomous area on the ground floor you find yourselves in the cosy living room area, which is decorated in white furniture, giving a fresh, summer ambience and also provides direct access to the pool area. The comfortable corner sofa, books, games and 50 TV will offer many hours of fun to you and your loved ones. Additionally, one more bedroom with a king size bed (1,60 x2,00 m) with 32 TV and a family bathroom with a shower cabin and washing machine can also be found on the ground floor.

A staircase from the living room leads you up to the first floor where you will find the remaining two bedrooms of Casa di Vangelis, one of which offers two semi-double beds (1,40 x 2,00 m), while the other one has a king size bed as well (1,60 x2,00 m). The two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower cabin. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have comfortable mattresses, and they all have windows making them airy and sunny.

Outdoor area

The outdoor area of the villa is also very carefully designed, offering a variety of facilities, which include:?

- A 40 sq. m. private swimming pool. Minimum depth: 0.70 m. Maximum depth: 1.80 m.

- The terrace is equipped with a hammock, sun beds, umbrellas and an outdoor shower, so you can sunbathe and relax by the pool all day long.

- Fully equipped gas barbecue facilities.

- Outdoor dining table next to the pool.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA

Casa di Vangelis is located in the picturesque village of Chromonastiri which has been classified as a preserved and traditional heritage site of great cultural value and its considered as one of the most important historic settlements of Rethymno.

Its convenient location and surrounding area makes it a perfect destination for a relaxing holiday, since it is within walking distance from many tavernas options, as well as traditional cafes, while within just 10 minutes driving the guests will find the beautiful sandy beach of Rethymno.

Whats more, a 5X5 football field and a childrens playground exist in the village. Roussospiti village, next to Chromonastiri, also a preserved and traditional settlement, offers two traditional tavernas, playground and a mini market. Furthermore, the beautiful Mili Gorge is ideal for a nature walk.

Additionally, Rethymno town, which is 15 minutes away by car, offers all the amenities guests will need, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and ATM machines, restaurants, cafes and bars, a post office. It also offers many sightseeing spots, such as the Fortezza fortress, the Venetian harbour, several mosques, the municipal garden and more.

Last but not least, several picturesque villages are within close proximity and from the village you can easily reach the highway leading to Chania and Heraklion cities.
