Krystal Shores is located just South of Manistee. This 2 bedroom 1 bath home has all the comforts of home along with private lake frontage on beautiful all-sports Gun Lake in Fountain Michigan. Cottage sleeps up to 6 and has fully stocked kitchen along with a separate dining room and with a four season room that offers additional dining space and excellent views of the lake and wildlife. Amenities include central air, washer and dryer, microwave, coffee maker, TV, DVD / VSR player, stereo, gas grill, fire pit and limited fire wood, private dock, and bath towels included. Please bring your own paper products (toilet paper, napkins, paper plates if needed, etc...) Garage is not included in rental. Pontoon boat rental available for additional fee, inquire if interested.

This cottage provides relaxation and a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the normal day. Come enjoy the fishing boat and water amenities that are provided. The cottage is conveniently located between Manistee and Ludington.

Anniversary getaway

The pictures do not do this place justice. The house had everything we needed. The private beach area was absolutely beautiful and so clean. My husband caught at least a dozen fish off the pier within 30 minutes of getting there! Would definitely book again.

This was a great lake cottage getaway! Wonderful beach area, beautiful lake, gorgeous sunsets, and clean and comfortable cottage. We enjoyed our time at Gunn Lake very much!

Perfect Pandemic Paradise

Great location to get away from home during the pandemic where you have your own beach and nothing to do which keeps us away from crowds. Thanks for the nice place to visit and will definitely be back again!

Perfect spot for a family get-away

Our family stayed here for a week in July and could not have been happier. Our kiddos loved the clean sand and warm water. We rented the boat, fished off the dock and spent most nights playing games on the screened in porch. We took day trips to Ludington which was really close and has great beaches and restaurants. It was such a perfect spot for our family vacation. Highly recommend!

Great Property!

This was rented for an overflow of guests at our cottage down the road so the location convenience was perfect. The rental was very clean and homey inside and out. Beds were very comfortable and just about everything you would need for a fun stay was provided. I will definitely rent again in the future. Thanks Krista!!

Wonderful low key week!

This year I wanted just a quiet beachfront vacation for our little family & this was perfect! Enjoyed my coffee on screened porch overlooking water, fishing off the dock, the lake was nice! The cottage has anything you wanted already there- thank you for a wonderful stay!

We very much enjoyed our week at Gunn Lake! The cottage fit our family of 4 just fine. We enjoyed grilling our dinners are eating on the front sun porch. Our teenage daughters had fun swimming out in the quiet lake. We also took advantage of the cottage's proximity to Ludington and took several day trips to Ludington State Park. We will keep this cottage on our list for a potential return!

Quiet retreat

We enjoyed the quiet and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The sunsets were amazing viewed from the back sunroom, the patio, and beach, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the host was very helpful. We love the greater Ludington area and enjoyed some great hikes in the area, including Ludington State Park. Be aware there is no wi-fi, and cell phone reception is pretty weak (1 bar at best)--the perfect way to genuinely unplug.

Relaxing

The property was very nice, fishing was very good off the pier. We liked the location, close enough to both Ludington and Manistee and all they have to offer, but not too close. Our only disappointment was no pontoon. It was apparently being repaired, and ended up not being available all week.
