Twigs is a beautiful country retreat near Lechlade which sleeps two guests, in one bedroom, with a stylish bathroom. This cosy ground floor home away from home has an exposed stone fireplace with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen and a stunning garden which is shared with the owners. Tucked away in the picturesque village of Langford, close to the market towns of Burford and Lechlade-on-Thames, Twigs is the perfect base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery and charming towns of the Cotswolds.

This one bedroom holiday cottage in Langford is perfect for a romantic break in the Oxfordshire countryside. This single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:

Perfect in every way

The cottage was beautifully clean and so comfortable. The location was great! We were close to all the things we wanted to see. The hosts were so kind and left us some welcome treats and we really had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend staying here! The village is beautiful too.

Our stay at Twigs was excellent

Coral and John were welcoming hosts and the cottage was in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. The standard of the cottage was excellent with lots of nice touches, we would recommend it and would certainly book again when visiting that area.

Wonderful in every way. Comfortable and kitted out with anything you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday..we loved Twigs..we should have spent more time relaxing in the fabulous garden..but lots to see in the Cotswolds area too..

Perfect stay

Coral is an amazing host. The cottage was so pretty and had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was very modern and spacious . Sitting room was bright and cheerful with a gorgeous, well maintained garden. We didnt need the fire but would have loved to sit around it and enjoy the ambiance. There is a pub a very short walk from the property which had really good food. So nice being away from the hustle and bustle of the other villages but close enough to go out exploring during the day and know we were coming back to Twiggs.

Twigs cottage at Hanover House, Langford

Very nice quiet property in a small village away from the bustle of a larger town. Coral, the owner, was available next door if needed, but stayed to herself, even when I was knocking about her garden. I enjoyed watching the military cargo planes taking off from RAF Brize Norton several miles awayBe Norton

A great base for exploring the South Cotswolds

We loved our stay at Twigs, especially the quality of all the furniture, fittings and appliances. The extras, in the form of sweet treats and basic foods, were greatly appreciated. Everything we needed was provided. The garden was the perfect place for an evening G n T or a glass of wine. We only me the host a couple of times but she was always on hand in case we needed anything. There is nothing negative to say about this property; perfect throughout.

A beautiful base for exploring the local area

Twigs is a very clean and comfortably property with many thoughtful touches by the owner to make guests feel very welcome and settled. Set on the outskirts of a peaceful village it was a pleasant stroll to the local pub with its great dining, and close to various places of interest so good for explorers! Coming back to a roaring fire in the evening and waking to peaceful fields in the morning were just what we needed on our mini-break.

Superb Self Catering

Twigs is possibly the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It was immaculate throughout, and had everything we needed. Very quiet location and lovely village pub. We had a very relaxing holiday, and would definitely recommend. Looking forward to returning in the not so distant future. Thank you Coral and John.

Immaculate, stylish, every need anticipated. Top quality fittings and finishes. Extremely comfortable. Located in picturesque village. Glorious garden of impressive scale and exquisite style. Great pub (though more vegetarian needed). Easy parking. Nothing to fault. Will be back.

fantastic & a much better way of having a short break than staying in a hotel etc.

absolutely brilliant cottage with very friendly & welcoming hosts that ensured our (far too brief) stay went so smoothly. nothing was too much trouble, everything has been planned out to perfection, with high quality goods everywhere & there is even the lovely patio & garden to relax in & enjoy after returning from a days sightseeing. we would have no hesitation in staying again but would certainly make sure it was for longer than 4 nights next time as we just didn't want to leave!

Excellent!

Lovely little getaway, with wonderful little surprises throughout the place. A superb base-camp for day trips all over Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. Short walk to excellent local pub, and short drive to several fantastic small towns with good food and shops. The supply of firewood was plentiful, perfect for a relaxed stormy day in front of the woodstove. Overall, a wonderful experience for a relaxing holiday.

Fabulous in every way

I was looking for somewhere peaceful but not remote and Twigs fitted the bill perfectly. The annexe was very clean and spacious and wonderfully well equipped. The owners are right next door and on hand if needed but not at all intrusive. Easy to find (thanks to the extra signs put out!) and park. I'll definitely be returning.

This is the fourth time we have had the delight of staying at Twigs. The place is perfect for two and the welcome generous and caring. John and the owner Coral are gracious hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We also were warmly and cheerily met by the neighbours, also the local inn. Wonderful Accomodations and hosts

Twigs is an amazing accommodation located in a small village and close to whatever you might want to do in the Cotswolds. The apartment was just as described and more. Lots of thoughtful details. We loved the back yard and seeing "Mr. Feathers", the pheasant, come for breakfast every day. Coral and John were wonderful hosts. They made us feel so welcome. If we ever make it back to the Cotswolds, we will be back to Twigs!

A Delightful and Relaxing Break!

Twigs is a delightful one bedroomed property for two. It has been beautifully furnished and has a super king size very comfortable bed. Situated in the village of Langford it is extremely quiet and you can totally relax in your surroundings. The owners have thought of everything for your comfort and Twigs is very well equipped. We had a lovely few days staying at Twigs. One thing to be considered about staying in Langford is that it is somewhat “out of the way”. There is a good pub within a few minutes walk though! If you want to totally “get away from it all” then Twigs is perfect.

Exquisite Cottage

My daughter and I had a wonderful mini-break staying at Twigs. The cottage is absolutely immaculate; the size, the layout, the furnishings, décor. Every little detail has been carefully considered, from the welcome drinks and milk in the fridge, to the essentials and luxuries in the bathroom. The garden is completely stunning and beautifully landscaped and planted, and the zipwire is such a fun surprise for children. Our hosts Coral and John were welcoming an on-hand without being intrusive or overbearing., and would go out of their way to assist with anything they could. Needless to say the Cotswolds are a beautiful part of the country, even in the rain, and this was a perfect base to explore them from.

Wonderful stay at Twigs

We were greeted by a very friendly Coral from the main house upon arrival who told us to make ourselves at home. How easy that was - Twigs is welcoming and has everything that you might want and more. There is so much thought and attention to detail with how the entire home is stocked, including goodies left just for us. The grounds are beautiful and the owners are friendly and helpful but not intrusive in any way. The small Cotswold village is quaint and quiet but a short drive from larger market towns where you can shop and pub to your heart's content. On the last night we were told to 'leave everything and walk away' like we'd been in a hotel and everything would be taken care of. What a great stay, thank you Coral!
