House was as described. Outside railings were a bit shakey - don't lean against them.
Driveway and steps up to back door were quite steep. Definitely not handicapped accessible. House was great space and room for all 5 couples. Beds were comfy. Beautiful views of the Mississippi and the colorful trees in the woods. Owner was very helpful in getting the TV working and directing us to a Pickelball court.
Wonderful get away with girlfriends!! Home had the perfect set up to relax and chat. The views were amazing as well! Highly recommend! Owner was very pleasant to work with.
We enjoyed the impressive views and spending time on the screened-in porch. (The views are more impressive than the photos show, especially at sunset!) Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and other kitchen items. It's a beautiful and scenic drive along the river to get there. The driveway is very steep, but there are a few pull off spots next to the road for easier parking. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
Nice getaway for a hiking trip. Three level home with bathroom on each level. Beautiful view. As luck would have it the Northern Lights were out while we were there and we have a spectacular view!
Home very clean and accommodating. Listing needs include very steep incline to get to front door. Parking is challenging. Also need light on the parking area and over the door so keypad is visible at night.
View of the river was as advertised.
We had a fabulous weekend getaway with WSU college friends & spouses! The house has amazing views of the river! There was great bedrooms & bathrooms! All of the amenities available. Scott was responsive via messenger. We would definitely stay here again!
This house was everything we needed and more. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the river - this is where we spent most of our time. There was plenty of space in the house for people to play card/board games. The beds were great - everyone slept well. The house has 3 floors and 5 bedrooms - everyone had plenty of space. We ate at a place minutes away (Eagle View Bar & Grill) and the food was delicious. If our trip was longer, we would have gone on walks around the neighborhood - it's a beautiful area. We will be back!
It has been beautifully updated and spacious place to enjoy with the company you are with. The only thing that was deceiving is the steep hill you have to walk up in order to get in. It was difficult for myself with arthritis in my hips. Also, the beds on the top level are as hard as a rock. Other than those 2 things it was extremely enjoyable weekend. We would stay again.

So promising and so disappointing!
The house space and views are great. The cleanliness, supplies, walkway and railing to the house very disappointing. There were ants everywhere. After buying ant traps they were gone in 12 hours but that should have been supplied. Towels supplied for just 2 people. We had to rummage in the closets for more and they appeared to be cleaning towels. Refrigerator was empty but dirty. Window sills and screened porch were dirty. Walk up to the house very steep and steps small and railing was not adequately secured. We also bought more wine glasses (not enough for the 5 of us) at Dollar Store. Very disappointing but such a promising house.

Girls family getaway
Scott was very attentive. The air conditioning went out over night the first night of our 2 night stay. He had someone out to fix it by dinner. It was a little awkward having strange men coming in and out during our stay and in the middle of dinner, but it got fixed which was appreciated.
The reviews of the uncleanliness, sadly were very accurate. Also very outdated. But we enjoyed our family time and there was plenty of room.
Also extremely steep gravel and grass driveway as others have mentioned. Difficult for our mom with a cane to maneuver, but we managed to get her in and out.
Wish I had read the reviews prior to booking.
The owner was great the house was lager and better than expected. We had a total of 10 guests and there was accomodations for everyone. I would book it again!
This home provides lots of space and has a beautiful vantage overlooking the Mississippi. The only disappointment we found was that we could not use some of the outside amenities, the Weber grill had a mouse nest inside and the patio and screened porch were not useable due to the significant presence of hornets. There was also a large number of dead ladybugs everywhere in the home. Overall these were minor issues, the home presents comfortable space capable of hosting a large number of people.
This place is great for a large group get together. The deck and screen porch are spacious, and the open concept living/kitchen/dining rooms are the perfect set up for everyone being together. Large windows allowed us to see many bald eagles soaring and nesting right next to the house. There were a fair number of Asian beetles throughout the house, but I suppose that just comes with springtime in a rural home. The large dining table allowed all 10 of us to play games together, and there were plenty of outdoor chairs provided.
