This condo is a time capsule from the 70's with shag carpeting, trim details, and furniture from that era. Also lighting is very dim probably to hide some of those details. Luckily it was me and two teen boys who couldn't care less about such details but I was glad I didn't have the mrs. with us. Location, location, location! Parking was a bit annoying but doable and the walk from the street to the condo was a haul. Would I stay here again? ...With the boys, yes, with my wife, no. This place is *long* overdue for a few upgrades, starting with the flooring.
The parking was not convenient at all, you’d need to know your tacking on $55 a day if you’re keeping your car in the area, but it was what was advertised and the beds were comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space. Water pressure was good, it’s no frills but was perfect for what we needed. It has a new large TV and good view out the door as well! We would come back, especially if the parking lot situation changes.
Great location and space! The condo is a bit dated, but good size rooms, bathrooms, and living room. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would be interested in staying here on future Steamboat trips.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Our stay
The property is in a good location. It could use a deep cleaning. Didn’t receive check in instructions prior to check in And had to place multiple calls for assistance. There were no check out processes posted and no communication was received regarding g the process so we guessed.
Overall the property was nice but dated. The location was great though. Right next to slopes. Unit #303 does not have a W/D in the unit as it stated. Also the hair dryers in both bathrooms don’t work. The check in process was pretty easy though and the response from the property manager was great. The elevators are really small so mainly took the stairs. The sauna and hot tub area looked brand new and had a small work out area.

Not representing what was listed on homeaway
The kitchen was falling apart. There were random socks and clothes left in drawers. The bunk bed sheets had yellow stains on them.
In the listing it was advertised as having a in unit washer dryer. There was no washer dryer to be found in unit. I was very unhappy with false advertising. Would like to see it be corrected

Convenient Location
The location was really good. Across the street from gondola square. No need to drive or catch a bus to ski. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to sleep while you ski this is definitely for you. If you prefer nicer amenities and don't mind paying a little more, then you will want to stay somewhere else.
I can't give it any higher than 3 stars as the kitchenette is very small, the property is dated and doesn't seem to have been remodeled in quite some time. The wifi was good, but there was no hdmi port on the television to stream. No bedroom televisions either.

great location for skiing!!
Was a bit difficult to unload and load, and we had two cars and there was no parking anywhere except the Sheraton and we had to pay $50, but great for the value and the location was right across the street from the ski village so perfect for a ski trip.

Location was great
Steps away from the base of the mountain makes this location ideal for both skiing and restaurants. It is also very close to the bus route that will take you into town.

Location is the only thing that is convenient...
All in all, the stay was great - however, it is a difficult place to get into with a labyrinth of stairs and lock boxes to access keys - not convenient at all if you're staying with more than one other person...the front door of our place could only be opened with a key and there was only one key available for this. Also, our car had a storage box on the top and did not fit in the garage -- so we had to park elsewhere. We were also only allowed for one car, which made the logistics of staying with 7 (of which it sleeps) very challenging. It made the vacation a bit stressful.

Great location, condo just so, so
It is 200 steps to the run, which is great! Kids could (8 and 10) carry skis over and back no problem. Not quite close enough to come back for lunch but we could have if we wanted. The condo itself is just okay. Needs many updates - master bed, kitchen(plates, glasses, and storage). TV really sucked which made it hard for the kids. Not having a TV in the master or other room meant we were sentenced to Teen Titans Go. But this is really no different from most other condos in Steamboat I have been to they all are dated or way over priced. This location is good with places to eat walking distance and opportunities for apres for the adults. All said it is a good place if you plan to ski or ride all day and not spend time or eat as a group in the condo. Again, this place is all about the location.
