About this property
Kiddicott Farm Cottage #2
Situated alongside areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the stunning Exe Estuary and the world famous Jurassic Coastline. Our two terraced three bedroom cottages have been built to a very high standard for the purpose of accommodating visitors in an exclusive and private environment. With the appearance of a typical English Cottage, the interior has been specifically designed to complement a fresh, spacious and contemporary experience.
Kiddicott Farm is set in 55 acres of glorious East Devon Countryside. The cottages overlook our orchard, gardens and fields.
All the bedrooms have rural views, with en-suite bathrooms and complimentary comforts.
Both cottages have downstairs utility/cloakroom with W/C and washing machine and tumble dryer.
The Living/Dining areas are very spacious and we are more than happy to transfer extra tables and dining chairs into one cottage so that families and friends can dine together.
We have plenty of secure parking and can easily accommodate horse and boat trailers.
We appreciate the need to keep connected with the office and home so our guests benefit from free wireless broadband and excellent 4G mobile phone coverage on most networks.
Restored to traditional pastures and meadows - deer, badger, fox and many native birds, including resident families of buzzards, sparrow hawk and kestrel delightfully grace us with their presence.
In particular, the elusive heron will often 'stake out' our pond - a paradise in the busy world that we all live in, we defy anyone who visits not to leave Kiddicott Farm feeling restored in their faith of all 'good things' and that the English countryside truly is a national treasure. Enjoy!
ps. Please remember to bring your binoculars.

About the host
Hosted by Christine and Malcolm

Malcolm and Christine have always lived in East Devon. Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. Close to Dartmoor and Cornwall, the M5 to London, all within a couple of hours away, Exeter is the perfect place to live. Steeped in history, this vibrant growing city, currently recognised in 2020, Exeter has been awarded prestigious UNESCO City of Literature status. Not to mention state of the art Science Park and Exeter University. Our Rugby Stadium, home to our Exeter Chiefs, has hosted a number of international events. We have much to be proud of!
Why they chose this property
Kiddicott Farm is close to our popular family attraction Crealy Adventure Park, only twenty minutes away from Dartmoor National Park. Fifteen minutes to Exmouth Beach, ten minutes to Topsham and the beautiful Exe Estuary and bird sanctuary. I would highly recommend the Goat Walk at Topsham. With Darts Farm and Greendale Farm shops on our doorstep for extra special foods.
Kiddicott Farm is the perfect location for contractors working in the Exeter area. Close enough to a number of Business Parks and our Met Office.

We have our own orchard and are very proud to give our guests complimentary bottles of our very own Kiddicott Farm apple juice.
