Our spacious three level fully equipped townhouse is nestled in the heart of one of the most spectacular and exciting mountain regions in the world! Yellowstone National Park with all its thermal features, wildlife and more is just a few blocks away. Drive in your own car, snowmobile, take a snowcoach or tour bus, or ski, bike or hike the park.
In winter, groomed snowmobile trails (five trailheads within eight blocks, one right in front of the townhouses) lead to unbelievable mountain vistas. Deep powder riding, trail touring on 600 miles of expertly groomed trails, steep mountain high-marking, thousands of square miles of wide open roller coaster back country bush-whacking, and unforgettable photo opportunities beckon. Food and refreshment spots run by friendly mountain locals are hidden all along the trails. Then after an exhilarating ride back to town, the townhouse welcomes you with big screen TV, fiber optic WIFI and a full kitchen in which to rustle up some grub. Or, head a few blocks downtown (snowmobiles are allowed on most streets) to sample a wide assortment of fine restaurants, watering holes, casinos and more. Don't stay out too late as an overnight snowfall will bring a new day of adventure (There are over 14 days worth of snowmobile destinations to ensure you never get tired of the riding!).
Cross country skiers can access the Rendezvous Ski trail system 3 blocks from our front door. Trails are well groomed and there are several racing events each winter.
Summer visitors have a multitude of choices each day also. Besides visiting the wonders of Yellowstone, the following are some not to be missed sights, all within about 125 miles of the lodgings: I-MAX Theatre, Grizzly and Wolf Center, Museum of the Yellowstone, rodeos and more, all within blocks of the townhouse, Hebgen Lake, Sawtell Mountain road above the clouds, Big Sky Ski Hill and Gondola Ride, Centennial valley and Red Rock Wildlife Refuge along with Elk Lake Camp, Madison River, Gravelley Range Road auto tour, Virginia City gold mining town, Lewis and Clark Caverns, Rexberg sand dunes, Jackson Wyoming, Beartooth Highway, 1957 Earthquake Memorial and many more.
West Yellowstone is also at the epicenter of possibly the finest fly-fishing area in the country. The Madison River, Henry's Lake, Henry's Fork of the Snake, Firehole River, Yellowstone Lake, Hebgen Lake, Wade Lake, Cliff Lake and many more are all in close proximity. Fishing shops in town have gear, advice and guides. Be sure to try your hand at catching a lunker!
