Just one block off beautiful Lake Ripley, you're steps away from 450 acres of fishing, boating, water skiing, canoeing or just lounging around. We have a large public beach about one (1) mile away. The Cambridge Lake House is located just 130 miles from downtown Chicago.

Quiet and Convenient Escape

We really appreciated how close we were to Madison and how calm/quiet our location. Having the lake close by was a great way for us to quickly relax/unwind after a busy day given our itinerary.

Paddle Boat Paradise

Had a wonderful time at the lake house. Access to the water was easy and convenient and plenty of fun toys to tour the lake. Kids had a great time and so did our dog. What a fantastic way to enjoy beautiful lake Ripley. See you all again soon!

CLH Stay

From start to finish, it was an amazing experience with great communications from the owner. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed from kitchen to Lake access. It was a great way to celebrate the 4th of July!

Cozy Quiet Cabin

This house is a cozy place in a quiet neighborhood. Both clean and comfortable. 20 minutes from Madison. Beautiful lake Ripley. Several good resturaunts nearby. Fantastic hosts.

Cambridge Lake House

Host friendly and accommodating and easy to speak to. Lake house was clean, well stocked and well located. If we return to Madison, this vrbo will certainly be our first choice to stay.

Tranquil Cabin Lovely View

The host was exceptionally nice, the setting is a lovely, very peaceful little area close to the lake in Cambridge. I really liked some of the conveniences they thought of, like not just candles but they left lighters so you could light them, and they explained the tv remote so clearly even I could do it :). We loved the deck and ate out there every meal. Overall, very easy, peaceful stay for our niece's fourth Birthday.

Peaceful cabin getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin. Great outdoor spaces and living areas to gather. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to lake access and dock. The town of Cambridge is really cute, with great restaurants and fun shops. The hosts are fantastic and great with communication!

Fantastic!

This cabin was just the right size and location for us. Our group of friends was able to enjoy downtown Madison with an easy drive in and out of the city. We enjoyed the lake house cabin feel that you would normally get "up north" in Wisconsin. Everything was clean and stocked with any supplies / amenities we needed. The owner was very responsive and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Just what we needed

Not the common scenario, we had a family emergency and could not leave our dog at home or boarded. The property was just what we needed on short notice. Despite the lingering Wisconsin winter, this was cozy and comfortable. Clean- and communication was excellent. Definitely the top of our list for future stays.

Pet-friendly Lake cabin

Absolutely amazing stay at the lake cabin. Great location and close to all of the fun things Cambridge has to offer. Super nice owners who really go the extra mile for your stay. Best part is you can bring your fur babies along, this means everything to my husband and me. The house was clean, charming and stocked with everything you need. Can't wait to stay again. Thanks for the amazing hospitality:)

Nice getaway cabin

This cabin had everything we needed, plus more. We stayed the weekend with our two little kids. It had plenty of room to sleep & spread out. This cabin would be a blast with some friends during the summer since it’s very close to the lake & provides lots of fun amenities including grill, fire pit, bar, open deck, & water toys. It’s very close to plenty of restaurants, gas stations, & a grocery store. The owners were very welcoming as well. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

Great Location and Lovely Lake House!

We rented the Cambridge Lake house to attend my son's wedding at Over the Vines. Keith was a GREAT host! Very responsive and prompt to answer all my questions. The house is really nice- plenty of room. My husband and I and our daughter and her husband stayed- and my younger son also stayed. We had plenty of room. The outside living area is also really nice! A great deck upstairs and patio downstairs. The bar area looked fun- I wish we would have had more time to spend at the house! Everything was stocked. Great property!!

Cambridge house

This house suited our needs, it had all the extras you might forget. The decor inside is awesome. We arrived a couple days before event hoping to get out on the lake, but unfortunately the weather was a bit cool. It is dog friendly, which was very important to us. My son was getting married in the area and his dog was part of the ceremony. Keith and Scott were great hosts, answered my many questions right away. Thank you If we have the need to stay in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

Great place!

Excellent lake house that has everything you need, including grill, fire pit, kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, deck and patio. Very clean, nice neighborhood, cute town. I hope to come back someday!

Great place to stay while in Madison for an event

7 of us ladies stayed at the Cambridge Lake House. The house is so cute and clean on the inside. Bedding and towels were available as well as everything we needed in the kitchen. There is enough space to have a couple air mattresses if you have a larger group who doesn’t want to share beds. Pullout couches were decent to sleep for being pullout couches. Only 1 suggestion is to put a bath mat down in the tub of the shower downstairs, it’s really slippery and one of our people staying slipped while in the shower. Other than that this place is a lovely place for a group to stay!
