Family owned and operated with 5 star reviews, this cabin includes clean and comfortable décor and has everything needed to make your stay unforgettable. We take pride in providing quick, easy, and personable customer service. Located at the top of a mountain, this cabin has the privacy to make your vacation a true get-away. Enjoying everything the area has to offer is a effortless since the cabin is only minutes from beautiful downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge’s main strip.

Here are more of the enviable features you’ll appreciate at Sunset Ridge:

Walk in to a spacious and comfortable living room which features vaulted ceilings, a stone electric fireplace, a large flat screen T.V. and DVD player, new furniture which includes a queen sleeper sofa. In the full kitchen, you’ll find everything you need including a new stainless microwave, stainless refrigerator, stainless dishwasher, new oven/cooktop, blender, toaster, pots, pans, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, plates, cups, silverware, and more. There is plenty of room for enjoying a meal at the dining table, which can seat 6-7 people. Down the hallway, there are two spacious bedrooms. The primary bedroom includes a full bathroom with a Jacuzzi style tub, flat-screen T.V., an armoire to accommodate your belongings, and a comfy king-sized bed with memory foam topper to get a great night’s sleep in. Sink into the luxurious memory foam on the queen bed in the second bedroom, which also offers lots of natural light , a flat screen T.V., a nice sized closet and a dresser to house your belongings. A few steps away in the hallway is a second spacious, full bathroom with tub/shower combo.

The large upstairs area features STUNNING panoramic views, 2 cozy memory foam topped twin bed cubbies with privacy curtains, a mini bar with sink and fridge, a pool table, a flat screen tv, family games, a new 2 person arcade game and a PlayStation2 gaming system. But, that’s not all. The second floor also boasts a laundry area with a new washer/dryer and a spacious private bathroom with a full-sized vanity and walk-in shower. At Sunset Ridge, you can enjoy the privacy and beauty of the outdoors while still having the modern conveniences of DIRECTV in all rooms and Hi-speed Internet.

When in the mountains, who wouldn’t expect spectacular views! Well, Sunset Ridge will definitely not disappoint. Enjoy the wrapped deck with ample seating, a dining table and chairs, and a gas grill. Great Little Cabin

Cabin was clean and well stocked with towels and dishes. The grill was newer and worked great. The kids loved the pool table and arcade game. Location was convenient and the cabin had a great view.

Adorable cabin with beautiful views! The space was perfect for our family of 5 - the teenager got her own room while the two younger kids loved the beds in the upstairs gameroom. My favorite part was having 3 bathrooms! Everyone loved the pool table and hot tub and it was a great place to come back to after long days hiking in the Smoky Mountains!

Sister's trip

Cabin was great for us, cozy and the beds were very comfortable, great for a good night sleep. The loft twin beds are more suitable for children/teens. The driveway was easily accessible, for any type vehicle. Great view and privacy. I recommend the Timber Log Cabin restaurant, breakfast and lunch is great, located off of Glades Road and be sure to visit the many of the unique shops.

Had an amazing time at the cabin. Kids had a great time with games and pool. Hot tub was also a hit! We did notice the lack of cleanliness when arriving and did take it upon ourselves to clean off surfaces. Should consider a different cleaning company. Overall our stay was fantastic!

Outstanding Family Vacation

Spent 5 nights with spouse and 3 kids and everyone had a blast. Plenty of sleeping spaces, beautiful view, reasonable driving distance between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Hot tub heated up quickly and was on the back porch that provided more privacy. Would recommend and look forward to staying here again next year.

Weekend in the smokies

My wife and I brought her brother and his family to the smokies for their first time. As soon as the kids saw the nooks where their beds were they were in love! This is the perect cabin to bring a small family! Location is great to access both gatlinburg and pigeon forge, yet far enough out to be out of the hustle & bustle. If we bring them back down. We would absolutly stay here again!

Exceeds expectations

Had a relaxing stay. The owners definitely take care of their property and their guests! They excel at customer service. The cabin access is an easier drive to than other secluded cabins. Under 20 minute drive to most attractions. Would love to visit again. Only downside is game room/kid area is an open loft and no buffer for sound between them and living room. But definitely not a deal breaker. Would be perfect for couple getaway with hot tub on deck with beautiful views. Easy check in and out.

Smoky mountain cabin stay

The property was as described. It was actually cleaner than I expected, having stayed at other cabins around the country. We enjoyed the cabin, view and the kids enjoyed the pool table and arcade games. Wish we had more time to spend.

Peaceful Retreat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bird Ridge. It is nessled on the mountain ridge with excellent views. Just a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for tourist attractions. The cabin is spacious and accommodated our family of 6 without issue.

Good Stay

The cabin was so cute! It's definitely smaller than we anticipated. We made it work but I would not advertise as a 3 bedroom. There was a lot of dust and the cleanliness of the duvets made me question the bedding. There were hairs and dust all over them. I dropped a balloon on the floor after arriving and it was covered in dust and hair from falling on the living room floor. Overall it was a good stay!

The property needs up dated and a deep cleaning we had a number of black ants bed covering need replaced shower up stairs leaked water on master bed they had note telling you to make sure shower curtain was in the shower did not work bed got wet twice cabin has great potential needs some love

Fun Getaway

The Sunset Ridge cabin was a great place for a long weekend in the Smokies. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The check in and check out procedures were clear and easy. I particularly appreciated that the check out did not require much time or effort. My two young kids really enjoyed the upstairs cubby beds and game room. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed but would not return

The deck and playroom were both a big hit but the rest of the house was lacking. I should have looked over the details better, so that’s on me. I didn’t realize that the two bedrooms had to share the main bathroom shower as there is only a tub in the primary bedroom. The kids slept in the cubbies in the game room and due to the openness of the loft space, the adults had to turn off all the lights and talk quietly after the kids went to bed. Because the floor is so loud and squeaky upstairs (and yes, it’s a wood cabin so I get it can’t be helped) as soon as the kids were awake it woke everybody else up too. The house was just too small for 4 adults and 2 kids due to the lack of space and privacy inside the house. The beds in the downstairs bedrooms were unfit for sleeping. Old, warped mattresses with a memory foam pad on top. My older parents were very uncomfortable. We loved the sunset, enjoyed rocking on the porch but were disappointed overall. Just not the right place for us.

We really enjoyed the privacy we had especially while relaxing in the hottub. Cabin was very clean & cozy. There's something for everyone who stays there, we played pool, some played the Playstation, , all kinds of board games.. wish we could of stayed longer.

We love the cabin and want to make every guest feel as at home there as we do. We take great pride in giving as much personal attention to our guests as needed. You will not have to deal with a large company and wait for someone to get back to you. One of us is always available to take your calls.

Why they chose this property

The views, privacy, clean and modern decor and amenities will make your stay unforgettable. When we visited Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg we didn’t want to stay in a cramped hotel room. We really wanted to get the most out of our stay. This, to us, meant clean, comfortable lodging and private outdoor mountain enjoyment. We looked into other cabins but couldn’t find what we were looking for. Some cabins felt older and not as clean for our family fun. Others were too over the top with bear decor. Some, that seemed great online, had neighbors so close that we felt as though we were sharing a deck. So, we purchased Sunset Ridge Cabin. We want other families to be able to enjoy their vacations without having to go through all that we did. We want our cabin to be a home-away-from-home for others like it is for us. It’s conveniently located right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The roads up to the cabin are paved and gently sloped so that, in rain or shine, you can easily get to the cabin.

What makes this property unique

From the large hot tub on the deck overlooking great Mountain Views, family game time in the cabin, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows on the fire pit, outdoor eating on the deck or picnic table to cozy nights snuggled in a great bed with fresh new sheets, there’s nothing Sunset Ridge Cabin is missing to make your Mountain stay a once in a lifetime vacation. You can take beautiful walks on paved roads overlooking Mountain Scenery. It truly is beautiful. We see lots of rabbits and occasionally other wildlife. You can’t get a better location. At the cabin you can enjoy the great outdoors with lots of privacy (no neighbors watching you in the hot tub). When you’re ready for more fun you can head into either Pigeon Forge (about 8-9 miles from cabin) or downtown Gatlinburg(about 8-9 miles from cabin). Or you can drive right into the Smoky Mountain National Forest (about 10-12 miles from cabin).
