This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again.
We were only in the cottage to sleep, beds are comfortable.Parking in the small bay is quite difficult especially if you have a larger car.ases
comfortable
The cottage is very close to the beach and the town centre, we found it to be very quiet and relaxing, and it has a parking spot outside the property, it is well equipped it has a full sized fridge freezer, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this roomy cottage.
The cottage was just the job, very clean, everything you needed in place and conveniently situated in a quiet spot but yet still minutes walk to the centre and sea front. Parking space is an added bonus. John was quick to respond to messages, friendly and even advised us that we could access the property earlier as it was ready. Would recommend and have booked again for next year
Amazing little "TARDIS" cottage. Rooms were bigger than expected from the look of the cottage from the outside. Parking space was an added bonus too. Spot on 👌
Loved the location, very central to local facilities. Perfect size for us, no issues. Great communication with th owner, will definitely be staying again. Thanks again John for a lovely stay for our honeymoon xxx
Clean, bright, spacious, accommodation in great location. Host was very accommodating too, arrived a little early and let us have access to property. We will definitely be returning.
Loved our stay in Whitby. The location of the accommodation was perfect for us. Fortunately I’m familiar with Whitby or it can be a little tricky to find. The satnav wanted to take us up Silver Street. Don’t do that if you have a big car. It’s great to have free parking but be careful parking in the allocated car parking spot. I heard a couple of cars fail to negotiate the tight turn over the weekend. The house is comfortable, clean and airy. The beds were great. Plenty of towels available. Everything worked. Not keen on the pillows and I’d forgot to pack mine. Had almost everything we needed. If you like to cook whilst away, load up your own casserole dish/roasting tin. My son couldn’t join us as he was stuck in Spain so just a note in case you’re over 6 foot be aware that because the bathroom has a sloping roof, you’ll need to take care when bending forward over the sink! Anyhow once again thanks for a great stay. If you’re going to Whitby you could do worse than to check in to Swales Cottage.
We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful little cottage! Everything was absolutely immaculate and it has everything you need for a home away from home. It is in the perfect position for walking around this lovely quaint little town. A little tricky to find but well worth it! We would definately stay again!
