Awesome Apartment in Plattekloof edge of Winelands
Summary
The apartment tastefully decorated rooms and TV and many more features with private garden. There is a large swimming pool used by singed in and paying guest only. Built-in kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge etc. Advertised rate excludes breakfast and additional services. Our apartment is fully equipped for self-catering. Full en-suite bedroom (extra-length queen size mattress) with private entrance and BBQ facility. Our Apartment is part of the main house with private garden a five minutes’ drive to the Wine Farm De Graaff Estates which is our closest wine estate, well known for wine tasting, excellent food and a safe space to walk or jog. It is located in an upmarket neighborhood with views over whole city. Situated a street away from the Tygerberg nature reserve. Located in panoramic and, upmarket suburb of Plattekloof. Panoramic view of Table Mountain and Table Bay.
The Space
The apartment is Centrally located with easy access to all major roads to City (Waterfront), 3 beaches, wine farms and shopping centres. We are 15kms away from Cape Town Airport International. The property is in the leafy suburbs of Plattekloof in what is fondly called rural Plattekloof, and on the Tygerberg Wine Route. We live on the property and will be very happy to assist guests where we can. We would be more than happy to share our favorite places to visit, recommended activities and restaurants in the area and broader Cape Town. There is always someone at home most of the days. You may call on us if you require anything. We will gladly help to make you stay pleasant and memorable. We have traveled widely and enjoy meeting new people, but also respect each living on the property privacy. We can guide you on places of interests so that you have a great stay in Cape Town. We can arrange a housekeeper during the week to assist you, but please note that some activities will be an additional charge. Let us know what support you need and we can sort out the details and cost with you.
Other Things to Note
If you enjoy walking or hiking, Tokai Forest Nature Reserve, the Arboretum at Porter Estate and Silver Mine Nature Reserve and the Tygerberg Nature Reserve which is the staging point for many hiking trails. It is ideally placed close to the main highway (N1) which gives easy access to Cape Town City Centre, Table Mountain, Cape Town International Airport (Normally a 30 minute drive) and to the South, the seaside towns of Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, Simons Town and of course, and 50 minute drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve. In addition, there is easy access to Hout Bay and Noordhoek and Chapman's Peak. There are more than twenty good restaurants and bars within a 8 km radius, several of which offer delivery service.Constantia Wine Route the world renown Groot Constantia Estate and Contantia Glen, as well as being an easy meander to any of the 10 other estates on the route.
Constantia Valley gives a wide selection of activities including zip-lining through the forest, golf, hiking trails, horse-riding, mountain biking and a number of farmer’s markets to explore and enjoy.

The vineyards such as De Grendel, Meerendal, D`Aria, Nitida Wine Farm, Diemersdal and Durbanville Hills and also close to the internationally known Stellenbosh Wine Route and Franschoek Valley where you can go for a cheese platter, wine tasting and wonderful foods.
We are centrally located between Table View, Blaauwberg Strand and Big Bay, known for kite surfing as well as surfing, Camps Bay, the 4 beaches of Clifton and Gordons Bay and the Strand known for sunbathing and fishing. We are only approx. 25 mins drive to the V & A Waterfront and city centre of Cape Town. There you can experience all the culture and creativity that this beautiful city has to offer.
Getting around
The sightseeing buses, taxis and Über pop in there and can be easily used to access other parts of Cape Town.You need to rent a car or motor bike or Uber taxi, but we are close to shopping malls (N1 center, Canaal Walk, Tygervalley, as well as Panorama Medi Clinic and the schools. Airport 15- 20 mins away.
